Poor productI did not like the fact the lavalier mic did not work at all plus the fact the sound quality was awful. I wanted this as a teacher talking to a large group but this product was useless for that task. Why does Amazon sell such poor quality products? It's a swindle! 1Remarkably difficult to use; avoid this productThis product is terrible (and that's something I don't say often) as a voice amplifier. I use it outdoors and wanted something water resistant to use in the rain. I have used it in light rain, and it has not failed, so that is good and the *only* reason I kept it originally. The most remarkable problem is that the volume is nearly impossible to adjust. To do so, you hold down the "next song" or "previous song" icon button while the volume changes. There is a little screen on the side that shows two numbers, but there doesn't appear to be any correlation to the volume at least not when changing the volume. So it creates this bizarre experience of blindly holding down an arrow button while making some noise into the mic and attempting to let off at just the right moment the get the desired volume. When you first press the button, it won't change, and then it changes very rapidly after a couple seconds.The second great offense is the musical sound it plays very loudly when turning on and off. It's tremendously annoying. Not only that but nearly any setting you change is met with a cheesy voice or something.There is no mute button to my knowledge, although, if there is, it's probably hidden behind a different button which would need to be held down for 5 seconds.On a more positive note, the sound quality is fine for voice amplification and the mic is acceptable, but not particularly remarkable. The volume is decent and I suspect it can be intelligible from about 75' away (talking in a reasonable volume).I would avoid this product. If you are looking for something that has it's capabilities, the market is such that there may not be many other options, but if you do find one, it may be worth a try. 1Terrible productThis does not work. If there is any background noise, it just screams and screams. The directions are in micro micro print and obviously translated from another language into English. I bought this to use for my parent s 50 wedding anniversary. I ended up shouting instead. It does not work in an environment with any ambient noise. Do not waste your money. I hope I can return this. 1Excellent SpeakerThis speaker is excellent. as a street preacher, I have been using many different devices over the years, and this one is by far the best one I've gotten. I use it with a wireless mic, and it is excellent as far as range, volume, and life. I have only had it for a couple of months, but hopefully it will last longer than previous makes I have purchased in the past. Also have yet to try it as a bluetooth speaker for my phone, so hopefully that will work as well as it has worked as a voice amplifier. Highly recommend. 5Need to be heardI work part time as a tour guide leading small groups through a presentation. The tours take place in a large but enclosed space, the people within 20 feet of me. One of my vocal cords is paralyzed as a result of surgery. I found that I was straining my voice and I was afraid of future misuse of my functioning vocal cord. Consequently, I purchased the WinBridge Voice Amplifier Portable to see if it would help. The price was what first attracted me. I figured for the price, if it did not work as advertised I would not be out much. It works surprisingly well. It is light, portable and rechargeable. The batteries last through three or four one hour tours without shutting down. It recharges within a couple of hours. The head set is comfortable and picks up my voice. The sound quality can be tinny if I turn up the volume. Additionally, the volume does not seem to increase after I reach a certain point. The lapel microphone did not work for me; it failed to pick up my voice. However, I have had this problem with other lapel microphones. The voice amplifier came with instructions as how to hook it up but it took trial and error before I learned where to wear the headset. There is also an FM radio but on the left side of the control panel. I have accidently hit the button while walking around and the amplifier switched immediately to FM, resulting in a lot of static and no amplification Very good value for the money, but you also pay for what you get. When this one wears out, if I am still leading tours, I may pay more for a larger speaker. 4Better, louder than the 25 watts VoiceBooster.What I like the most is the big sound for only 18 watts and such a small unit. I used it for large groups Team Building (120 persons) outdoors and everyone could hear me clearly. I own 8 of the VoiceBoosters also purchased at Amazon and they where nice for 25 watts, but this one sounds better and louder than the 25 watt VoceBooster. And Its more confortable to wear.The WinBridga has a great volume for such small device. I love it when playing music from my iPhone via bluetooth.The feel in you hands is that one of a well built product, solid.What I do not like is the is missing a MUTE button, I know I can always bent the mic away but that will also produce more feedback. The VoiceBooster doesn't have the mute either but the analog on of is easy, the WinBridge has a digital on of so to shut it off or on you have to wait.Another setback is the volume control when playing music with the bluetooth, it doen't have low volume, it only plays loud and louder. I tried controlling the volume on the play device but the same thing happens. (volume control and the back and forward buttons are shared for both functions.I will probably be replacing all my VoiceBoosters for this WinBridge once the WinBridge passes my test of time. 4What a relief!I have to speak to about 20 people outside on a daily basis and this is the loudest least distorted setup. It works probably because it's corded. The other 2 (one was a Califone and I don't remember the other) were bluetooth and started off working okay but weren't as loud and started to have interference issues. This one has held up for a few solid months. And I've dropped it from probably about 3 feet a couple of times (the clip is not the best) and it stays intact. I started to use the included neck lanyard to hang it around my waist. Overall I've gotten my money's worth because it has preserved my already ragged voice. 5Great product! It works exactly as described and is ...Great product! It works exactly as described and is well-built and durable. It allows you to speak in a normal voice/volume and pleasantly amplifies it without distortion. The rechargeable battery lasts a long time between charges and charges quickly once plugged in. I think a wireless microphone would be preferable and I think I will order one of those to go with this unit. But all in all, this is a great buy. 5Nice quality, burley packaging, fun to use.This unit is burley, and is probably a little overkill. We had the WinBridge WB001 amplifier and after a year of use it just stopped working. While it worked, it worked very well. This unit is about the same, perhaps a little louder and heavier, but it has many cool features we are not planning to use. Hopefully we can get multiple seasons on it. My wife is a bicycle safety instructor and she has a small voice, so this is big help. 5Good experience with it so farThis is a 3 in 1 voice amplifier, portable Bluetooth speaker, and a portable power bank. I have the voice amplifier in my room, I used as a portable Bluetooth speaker to listen to music in my bedroom. Sometimes when I m going out and my phone ran out of battery, I use it to charge my phone. Charging speech is fast. Additionally, as a teacher sometimes I will use the voice amplifier during a school field trip, therefore I don t have to scream at the children. Overall, it has been a good experience so far with this voice amplifier. Will update the review if there is something I don t like about it. 5
