    Good add-on set to the Wheeler Gunsmithing Screwdriver SetsExcellent add-on to the 72 or 89 piece gunsmithing screwdriver set. I've been a gunsmith for 37 years now. Wheeler Engineering makes some reasonably priced descent quality tools. A good set of hollow-ground screwdriver bits that fit the screw will keep you from ruining the screw heads on your firearms. Many firearm optics mounts use the torx and hex-head bits in this set. 5Nice, but...The jury is out. I broke the first bit I used, in the first 30 seconds of using it. It may have been my fault, not being used to using tiny bits with a torque driver. A guide with max torque settings for the bits would certainly help. The bit was the smallest star bit in the set. I over torqued it, (I think), and it twisted, with some of the points falling off. I would expect it to outright break first, seeing as how it should technically be hardened steel... 3Mildly disappointedI bought this extended set of bits with the Wheeler 43 piece professional gunsmithing screwdriver set. Unfortunately, this bit holder doesn't fit in the open compartment in the 43 piece case. Currently that open space in the case holds the two tiny flat slotted bits that have twisted into s-shaped tips when I applied 15 in-lbs of torque. If I ever run up against an s-shaped slotted screw, now I've got the right bit. BTW, the screws that were too tight for the Wheeler bits to remove were no challenge my 30 year old Chapman bits.On the upside, these bits are compatible with the Wheeler F.A.T wrench and the magnet in the driver tip has stayed in place on my unit so far. 3Fills some holes in my wheeler setHas some bits I have noticed the lack of, particularly the meteic hex drives for some Asian made scope rings & etc.Fits the extra bits pocket in my wheeler set, all good. 5Fill that empty spot in the Wheeler screwdriver kitBought this just to fill the void in my Wheeler WH562-194 screwdriver set. To my surprise I needed one of these bits a couple of days after receiving. Well made, fit perfectly and made for use. 5Should have been included in the deluxe kit by wheeler ...Should have been included in the deluxe kit by wheeler. Instead they leave a hole where this is supposed to go. Quality tools but why make you buy two items to complete the set? 4Nice set and it completes your Wheeler bit setIf you have the Wheeler 89 or 72 Piece bit sets this set completes them. There is a rounded rectangular section to the right of the bits in those sets and this fits right in there just like it was made for it. That's because it IS made for it. Get the Fat Wrench and your days of buggering up screws are OVER as is stripping threads and snapping screws! (as long as you pay attention to torque settings)FWIW, I just installed a scope sight with metric screws and did my best to torque them to specs with the supplied wrench w/o going over, but the Fat Wrench set to 15 in/lbs tightened them some more w/o over torquing them. This is something I should have had years ago! 5Good quality to go with my Wheeler torque wrench, needs a snap on tray cover though.Good collection to go along with my Wheeler torque wrench, which came with several bits, none of which fit my rifles unfortunately. This Add-on bit kit serves the use I need. Deleted one star because there is no snap-over cover for the tray so you will need to try to create one from the original packaging plastic or risk spilling them unless you already have a tool holder. Markings on bits are difficult to decipher, so it can be difficult to determine exactly what bit you are holding. Keep the original cover with the cardboard insert listing all included bit sizes. 4Get the extra bits for your FAT wrench...you just might need them.Nice set of extra bits to go with the Wheeler FAT Wrench. I found that I needed a bit from this set the first time I used the wrench, simply because the wrench did not come with the one I needed. If you have the FAT wrench, or are thinking about getting it, do yourself a huge favor and get this set of extras for a few extra bucks. I can almost guarantee that you'll be happy you did when you need a bit from here. It could be the difference between getting it done today, rather than tomorrow. 5Soft metal for torque bits!I used this for the first time today in my torque driver at 20lbs. The bit twisted on me and now I have a set with a bad bit and I am unable to find any customer service to have it replaced. I am a bit disappointed with the hardness of the metal in these bits. 2
