Because it did not fit my need, 7 Source credited my account without my having to return product. It's a pleasure to deal with a company that places customer satisfaction a high priority. I recommend this company!4They kept heavy glasses afloat and are pretty comfortable. Good to test in pool first! This works to keep my quite heavy sunglasses afloat...tested in the pool.....the bright color of the band helps locate the floating glasses as only the band floats and the glasses hang down into the water. I have the very thin metal stems and ear pieces and this band fit securely onto the thin earpiece. These are Rudy Project sport wrap arounds with the strong glass corrective lenses clipped inside of the sunglasses so they are quite heavy...but only option for severe correction in a wrap around style. These floated easily with this band. The band hanging down on your neck is fine...it doesn't catch in a life jacket like the ones with the fat pieces of foam threaded onto a cord so I like this style better. By the way....an original foam "Croakie" strap didn't float the glasses and they sank to the bottom of the pool. Good idea to test before you use any product like this! 5This is great for being out on the waterI bought this sunglasses strap for when I go paddle boarding on the lake. I was terrified of losing my good sun glasses to the lake monster! (And because of my light colored eyes, I need to wear good glasses all the time.)Can confirm - this does allow the sunglasses to float on top of the water if you fall into the water!Cons:- It does add a little extra padding to the arms of the sunglasses so it does press on your skull a little and you can be a little tender when you take them off when you get off the water. But it is worth it to not lose sunglasses.- I spend a lot of my time on the lake where the water can be a little dirty. A trip through the washing machine doesn't get all of the dirt and sweat out but for the price, you can buy one or two and cycle them through the washing machine.5Not functional. Too bunkly, causes ears to fold outwards.I don't understand how these have received good reviews... They were nearly impossible to get onto the glasses to begin with, and once that was finally achieved, I discovered that they add so much bulk behind the ears that it forces the ears to fold outward... The design was cute, but they just aren't functional. I am in the process of returning them.1Excellent product and I got to test them on a ...Excellent product and I got to test them on a recent trip to Hawaii.Easy to pull the strap onto my Ray Bans and I tested them out by floating the combination in shallow water, they worked as advertised. Then I gave them a real test by jumping into the ocean feet first with my sunglasses on with Ukes attached. Sure enough, the glasses and strap went over my head...and...my glasses with Ukes still attached were floating not far from me when I came to the surface!5Won't hold sunglasses securely.Bought these specifically for the ability to not lose my sunglasses in the water. I looked at all the pictures and instructions to make sure they were attached to my glasses properly. First time I jump into the lake, glasses slide right out and sink, the strap did however float so if you're looking for a great floating strap this is it. Otherwise, don't waste your money, lost my favorite pair of sunglasses with these.1It floatsTook a photo of sunglasses in a pot, with and without the floating strap. It works! Ready for vacation.I like that you can adjust it from being tight enough to retain the glasses on your head (by pushing the strap up onto the temples) to loose enough to hang around your neck (by pushing the strap toward the end of the arms).I have skinny temples on my sunglasses, max width 3/8 . If your glasses have wide temples, you can probably use these in the loose configuration but not the tight one.5I'm sure they are fantastic, they do not fit any of my Wayfair ...Please note, THESE DO NOT FIT THICKER FRAMED SUNGLASSES. If you have the wire frames, I'm sure they are fantastic, they do not fit any of my Wayfair Ray-Ban sunglasses. The one star reviews are unfair because the product isn't bad, however, I really wish that Ukes would post that it is not universal, or one size fits all. I had mine express delivered to the place I was renting for my beach vacation, and it was there upon arrival. The print is great, the quality is good, they look like they do float, and would be super handy, if only they slid over my sunglasses (which look very similar to the ones in the pictured... what gives guys?) They get five stars because they were immediate in responding to my concerns, and handled my return in a super professional manner. However, still in the market for some bad ass sunglass straps, I don't know if Ukes makes ones that will fit my sunglasses, but I'd like to purchase them if they do.5Did not float but A++ customer serviceI wear Maui Jims Peahi's. Maybe the material floats without glasses attached, but I tested in the sink and they did not float. Based on that I feel the description is misleading. Ukes customer service reached to me unsolicted so I changed my rating to neutral. They offered to make it right. My wife uses lanyard to keep glasses around her neck so at least they are getting used. I bought another brand for fishing.3It s a strap. Not a Ferrari.Just a quick initial impression of the strap I received today. I like it and it s comfortable. I purchased the strap for water sports safety so that I do not hopefully lose my glasses by having them fall off while I m wearing them. Secondarily I had hoped that the strap would keep my glasses afloat should they fall into the water. Sadly this strap does not keep my original Wayfarer Ray Bans afloat. As far as shades go these are heavier than other types of shades so your mileage may vary. Construction wise the seam that is sewn into the ends Spears to be reinforced enough to allow for a firm grip on the shades without risk of ripping or tearing the tread or neoprene. My strap is 19 1/2 (49.4cm). Three stars for seemingly good quality stitching and the fact that it s just a strap. If it would have kept my glasses afloat or the strap were about two dollars less I would have bumped the stars to four. Five stars if it would have been both. I mean come on. It s not the Ferrari of sunglasses straps but is there even such a thing? I still like the strap though and am happy with it.3Frame FitI bought the neoprene Ukes strap for my Zeal Capitol glasses. The frames are not overly large, but the tip of the ear piece is somewhat larger. When I first got the strap and tried to put it on, I saw very quickly that I was going to have an issue fitting the sock part of the strap over the end of the ear piece. I tried and tried, but was not getting very far. I then remembered neoprenes propensity to stretch when it gets wet, so I got a bowl of tap water and soaked the ends of the strap in the bowl. After a couple of minutes I shook the excess water off and started to put the strap on my glasses. It worked! My strap is now fully up and over the ear pieces to my sunglasses and they are not coming off unless some force is exerted. I share this story for those of you who are frustrated with not being able to get your strap on your glasses. I am sure there is a frame or ear piece that is simply too large for this strap to fit, but the mid-size frames should work.As far as quality, I'd really like to give the strap 3.5 stars. The strap I received is permanently creased along the back of the strap where it must have been folded to fit in the packaging. Not a deal breaker by any means but a little annoying. Otherwise, we're enjoying the fun prints and think the strap will fit our needs just fine. For the money, it may make sense to check out what Chums has to offer as I think they are around $5 cheaper.4Float, not so much. Everyrhing else great 5 stars for customer service. Great job on trying to may this work for my wife but it just didn't work out.1 star for buoyancy. Tested them at home and it barely floated in the pool but it did rise to the top slowly. Went on vacation in Mexico and tested in the ocean and pool and they just sunk. Would not even try to float. With waves churning, it would be hard or impossible to find my $260 Maui Jim sunglasses if they were to fall off.4 stars for non- buoyancy functionally. The strap holds the glasses pretty securely on your head. I went jet skiing and needed something I could trust to float if they fell off so could really use this for that. 3
