Takes Some Getting Used To But Good QualitySo this is my very first time getting a mac and I wanted to find a good case for it. Seeing that this comes in a bundle I instantly wanted to buy it. I was quite surprised to not find any instructions on how to properly put the case on or put the keyboard cover on but it was pretty much self explanatory. I love the royal blue color. The apple logo shines right through the case and the bottom part of the case has little slots that I'm guessing are for the fans which was a nice addition. I was kinda dumbfounded at first on how to put the top part of the case on and which way to put it on but I soon figured it out. Lol Whenever I open the macbook the top portion of the case I notice does lift up a little bit at where I touch it but it fits very tightly and won't come off from simply just opening it. I was so glad that a keyboard cover came with it. I have to admit that it is slightly hard to see the keyboard light but light does manage to get through. I'm not quite used to the new feeling of typing with it on but I'm getting used to it and I think this is a great way to prevent your mac from water damage and to keep dust and food out from in between the keys. I would definitely recommend this to a friend because this case has a very good build quality and is smooth and soft to the touch.4Unlike the Tiffany green macbook air case that i bought ...Unlike the Tiffany green macbook air case that i bought which had the wrong color keyboard cover, this one came with the right keyboard color, it fits perfectly however a lot of the keys don't match up with the print on the cover, so there is some ghosting but nothing that really concerned me but might bother perfectionist. What really did bother me was that i did get the wrong screen protector. the description said this product was for the mac book pro 13 inch with retina display, and as far as the case is concern, it correct, however the screen protector was for the 13 macbook pro WITHOUT retina display and IT DOES MATTER, the screen sizes ARE NOT the same, its a hair line difference but that hair line difference will prevent a proper seal around the edges of the screen protector. needless to say, the screen protect did not go on correctly because of that hairline difference. So that paired with the slightly unmatched keyboard cover, and the issue with the tiffany blue version of this package, id say this company has some quality control issues.4Product is alright not the best qualityI really like this product except I wish the case was more sturdy. For example the top and bottom part that clips onto the macbook pro is very flimsy and does not completely connect to the laptop. It is still loose and when I tried opening the macbook from the opening in front the case comes off easily which is very annoying. The screen protector I tried to put it on and readjusting many time until I finally gave up no matter how hard I tried the screen protector did not fit the macbook pro 13 inch. It was not the air bubble but no matter how many time I tried to place it on, it would not fit at all. The sleeve protector along with the keyboard cover was probably better than the case and screen protector. Which I bought this bundle because I really wanted to protect my laptop along with my screen. Since I have a backpack with a laptop holder. If this product fitted perfectly I would give it 5 star3Just okay. Some problems, but overall for 20.99 its an okay package. A few points:The first thing I did was remove the products from their individual slips to inspect before applying them. The most noticeable flaw was the cover for the bottom of your MacBook. I do not believe that this was used by someone before me, everything seemed to be packaged from wherever it was manufactured. Therefore, the marks and scratches I assume were from the time of manufacture. Not a big problem, just expected new hardware to come pretty much flawless. The next step before applying any of the other hardware was making sure the screen protector got on ASAP after thoroughly cleaning the screen. The biggest problem I have was while I was taking the utmost care to make sure I applied the screen properly and meticulously, the screen protector is too long on the right side, so as much as I tried to use the plastic smudger provided to weed out any bubbles, the protector still sits just a little bit on the raised edge of the screen. So now there is a column of a bubble that runs about 3/4 up the right side of the screen. Not too happy about that. The keyboard cover is essential for some, I am sure, especially if you worry about spilling your macchiato across your Mac every time you are trying to get done whatever you may be whilst in Starbucks. However for me, it slows down my typing and makes it a little more sloppy, as it would be hard to achieve a perfect fit for a cover of this nature. So, I most likely will not be using it. Great idea, but I understand how followthrough could be hard. The cases fit almost perfectly, the thing bothering me most is the wear on the bottom case which is almost certainly a manufacturing defect. The top case clips on quite nicely, however the bottom case more or less just pops on in a slightly bothersome way. It does not snap or click in, which makes me slightly apprehensive. Upon further inspection, you can notice many stress fractures in the plastic on the bottom cover where the numerous ventilation slots are, also gives pause as to how it will hold up under even the slightest of mishandling. They are more pronounced in light, the pictures do not do them justice.Lastly, of course is the slip on cover. I expected some more padding for what it is, and obviously it is not easy to tell from the pictures but there is basically very little padding on the slip cover, mostly a thin veneer of semi soft material. In the picture provided you can see the stitching is pretty sloppy too. This is all problematic for me since I will be on my bike all day going to and from home, university, work and so on. As such, I want to make sure that I protect my investment as much as possible, and this does not seem like the best idea long term given the circumstances. I most likely will be going for the UAG case for the MBP retina. More expensive, yes but you get what you pay for.As far as looks go, if that is all you really care about then it certainly makes it appear more stylish, and I would have to give it five stars in that respect. I went for the royal blue and it does look quite nice.3Seems FlimsyNot really loving the "wine red" color. Seems more like a blood brown. Compared to my last case this seems super light and not offering much protection. I thought I could make up for this weaker shell by using it with the Sleeve bag. Maybe this will work. I'm afraid to test it. Also, the sleeve smells AWFUL. Horrible chemical smell from it. I hope it is only temporary.2I like this bundleI like this bundle. I ordered the purple and the royal blue. The color is spot on. The case itself has a matte feel, which was a pleasant surprise considering the price. The keyboard cover fits nicely, however the letters don't match up exactly. This doesn't really bother me, but it's important to note. I will probably be on the lookout for a better quality keyboard cover. The sleeve does stink! The smell rubbed off on my macbook pro when I took it out of the sleeve. I honestly don't mind and it's not the reason why I chose to give it only four stars. I reason why I give this bundle four stars is because the keyboard cover and screen protector are lacking. The screen protector is slightly too big for the screen making it a pain to try to put on. That being said, the case and sleeve are great! The keyboard cover is okay. I just wish the letters matched up. Nice bundle for the price. I used the mousepad for my desktop.4Great Bundle for the PriceThis case is great for the money. I bought the TopCase hard case alone 2 years ago for about $15. Since then they have updated the design. With the old design the bottom half kept coming off easily and the top half would not come off unless you pried it with a butter knife as hard as you can...so I was very happy to see these issues improved. The reason I wanted a new case was because my old orange one was cracked a bit and I was tired with the color so I chose the newer dark blue one. Also I opted for the package deal for just a few bucks more! With this bundle itself I only really use the hard case and the neoprene one as the key cover and screen cover are just annoying to my hands and eyes.HARD CASE: The updated hard case is really nice from what I can tell. Instead of 2 grab points on the top of the screen (when opened) there is just one which comes off much easier when needed, almost to a fault. However it is MUCH better than having to pry it off with a tool. The bottom half is upgraded as well. This version stays on better and does not come up as high around the sides so it doesn't scratch your wrists when you are typing like I am right now. The cooling vents on the bottom have been slightly improved and feel really smooth with their more rounded edges. The pads are also a huge upgrade. They used to be 4 rubber nubs glued to divots on the outer side. Now they are large rubber pieces that are anchored by having part of their body on the inside of the case against the computer. The finish of the case is still a nice matted transparent look. It does not look cheap at all and it feels fantastic.SOFT CASE: I just love this thing. I normally use the 'Case Logic VNA214 14.1-Inch Laptop Attache (Black)', ASIN: B002SU4ED4 which is absolutely phenomenal as well and extremely affordable. I will still use the Case Logic briefcase as my main case because it can fit papers and some supplies with a carrying strap but also this neoprene case fits with the computer inside as well so it's extra protected! The neoprene case is also ideal for putting your laptop in after using it at home and tossing it (lightly) on the floor as I normally do before bed. The soft case feels great and the seams are stitched very well. The flap that opens to accept the computer is quite nice and will not rip when opened because it has some extra material to account for frequent opening. It's just a nice extra level of protection for your computer and beautiful new hard shell case ;)KEYBOARD COVER: It is a nice keyboard cover but I don't use it simply because I am used to the extra tactility of the naked keyboard. However if I think things might get messy I'll throw it on. For me it is fine for casual browsing but I would definitely not use it when I type out essays.SCREEN PROTECTOR: I don't like this thing. I'd like to warn buyers out there that this thing doesn't fit the screen. I tried putting it on and it was slightly too wide and too tall. What I did to fix it was to cut it a little on both top and a side with my Fiskar 12 inch paper trimmer. Sure it doesn't fit all the corners or some of the sides but at least it's on and covers the important part, the screen. But wait...are those bubbles I see? Yep, this thing is full of bubbles, most of which I cannot completely push to the sides. Luckily with normal use I don't notice them. I only see them when there is light reflecting off the screen. If you are someone who works seriously with photo editing or the likes then I would search elswhere if you need a screen protector because I've notice minor visual warping due to the bubbles which may impact one's work.Overall this is a great deal and worth the money for the hard and soft cases alone which is why it still gets 5 stars for value and quality despite the key cover and screen cover to be near useless to me. I definitely recommend this bundle.5Great combo package for your Macbook Pro!Case snaps on perfectly and provides better traction for your Mac while resting on any surface. The stock grips on the Macbook Pro are small and do not hold well onto surfaces. The Blue one I ordered looks nice on my Macbook and has held up well since I purchased it. I do not take my laptop many places so I cannot attest to its durability as far as dropping the laptop (god forbid I ever do, I am very careful with my electronics.) The keyboard cover is nice too although the letters printed on the cover do not match up so it can be hard to tell what it says at a cursory glance. You can see the lights well though underneath the cover so that is a plus. The sleeve that comes with it is a nice addition as well, it is made of a nice stretchy material and holds and keeps my computer in it very nicely.Good case for a good price!4Alright for now but hated the "screen protector"The case itself snapped on okay and I like the look of the case... from far away it was not the most aesthetically pleasing i was expecting something better and it had a weird line on the side of it, which didn't bother me too much because I am hoping to get a better one later I just wanted this for some protection in the meantime. The keyboard cover I actually like it fits really well but again it is not aesthetically pleasing the picture is all blurred and I don't really like that but I do like typing with the cover on somehow feels squishy when you type. My macbook fits perfectly in the sleeve just wish it didn't smell so bad but it fits in my backpack. Lastly, I absolutely hated the screen protector it was junk, collected so much dust and dirt that it got onto my screen and I had to continuously wipe it off. It isn't really worth it unless you want somewhat protection from scratches.3Case and sleeve with 3 bonus items. No brainer!Bought the red TopCase hard case for my A1502. All four items arrived on the expected date.Packaging: Everything is individually wrapped in cellophane wrapping, reducing the likelihood of scratches. All four items are then in a cellophane bag. My Amazon order included a privacy screen protector so it's possible that this resulted in my Amazon order arriving in a rigid box and not a bag like others received (thereby causing the TopCase screen protector to arrive bent). Overall, very happy here for easy of unwrapping and good enough protection during shipping.Color: The sleeve, the case, and the keyboard cover are perfectly color-matched to each other in a Ferrari Red (not arrest-me fire-engine red) which is exactly what I wanted. Not too bright, and not too muted.Case Installation: The case snaps on easily. Although nothing came with instructions, competitor cases on Amazon depict installation from the backside forward. This case is no exception. I waited for the case to warm to room temperature (24 hours) and then put it on. Just some slight pressure going around the case clockwise twice and everything snapped together happily.Case protection: Overall, the TopCase for A1502 covers the Macbook Pro 13 well. The only unprotected area is the back due to the way the screen hinges. I don't see how any all-plastic case will be able to cover the back, maybe cloth, but that just becomes a magnet for dust. No bueno. With the included sleeve, I have no concerns about the laptop being protected from minor bumps.Keyboard cover: I consider this a bonus for buying the sleeve and case. The fit is good enough and fits onto most keys. Some of the keys look like they aren't completely enveloped, yet this didn't impact my ability to touch type. The keyboard cover does prevent the lid from shutting all the way which is a small price to pay for not having my Starbucks Scone crumbs all over the actual keyboard.Screen protector: I didn't bother as I already have a 3M screen protector on. It looks similar to the clear ones you put on a smartphone. Nothing significant here. It did arrive without creases, folds, or dents. For the $20 of this combo, I consider this a bonus.Mouse pad: Another bonus. It's 5.5"x7.5" of typical computer show mouse pad. The surface feels is akin to laminate countertops and it's thin and floppy. It fits nicely into the sleeve alongside the laptop and is unobtrusive.5
