Customer Reviews

Nice for on the go. I have a collection of Think Tank pieces. The Padded belt and the multi-use belt pouch is my most often used configuration.I toss this lens changer on depending on the activity I'm shooting.note that if you have a lot of weigh with multiple Think Tank Lens Changers you really do need to have the harness add-on. 4nice I've been using this pouch with my spider holster belt. Works great. It had more than enough room to carry either the Canon 100mm f/2.8 or the 35mm f/1.4L.However, as a wedding photographer, I feel it would greatly benefit if it had a zipper or someway to close the pouch instead of a pullstring. When I'm running, kneeling, or laying down flat, I'm afraid that the lens would fall out. It's a nice pouch for quick pull and grab if you aren't a fast mover. However, I've decided to go with the Lowepro lens cases. I'm planning to use this Think Tank pouch for misc items. 4This Think Tank product, as usual, built by solid material Excellent build quality although price is a bit high compared it with others. I could put 24-105L with lens hood attached on belt while using other lens for quick lens change. It probably will fit 100-400L II f4.5-5.6 with hood reverse attached, too. When not use as a lens changer, it could be a good lens protective bag in your backpack. In fact, it was my main reason for this purchase. Be aware the size and pick the right one you need between 25, 35, and 50. 5Works great with Prime lenses I love using this with my Lowepro S&F Tech belt! I bought two for each side to carry either my 35mm, 85, 135 and sometimes my 24-70 f2.8. My only gripe is that it doesn't fully close to keep dust/dirt from getting into my lenses. I shoot weddings so I do not leave the end caps on while they are in the pouches, so I can switch lenses quickly. With prime lenses, you can leave their hoods on and still be able to pull them out pretty nicely. I have a bit of an issue trying to pull out the 85mm f1.2 with the hood on though. Would I recommend these, YES! If you're on the go often, these are great!! 4Think Tank Lens Changer 35 V2 - a definite buy Bought this for a Tokina 11-16mm f2.6 lens because most cases are not wide enough for this lens including hood. It fits great with room to spare. As a bonus it is deep enough for my Micro Nikkor 105 mm including hood in place ready for use.Very sturdy build. I don't use the Think Tank suspension or belt system at this time, but the velcro allows use on any belt or camera bag/backpack strap.Note that it does not completely close a the top, although there is a flap to cover the end of your lens and a draw with thumb lock to pull tight. Even with the 105 as noted it will pull completely over the cap to provide protection from falling out and elements. Will not keep rain or lots of dirt out though unless you use the supplied rain cover that stores in the bottom sipped pocket. You could also store lens caps or a filter or two in this pocket, but I worry about filters becoming damaged if stored here and dropped on its bottom. There is some padding, just might not be about to protect a 77 mm filter. I don't do it. Lens caps and body caps will store in the neoprene pockets on the outside of the case.Overall a solid product. Has taken a beating so far. Lives up to Think Tank's reputation. I have some other Think Tank products and like them.PS: don't know why Amazon flipped the images of the 105 and case and the case with the 105 in it. But I think you get the idea. Hey Amazon!! Give me a way to fix this once the initial import is done!! 5Three Stars The top is not sealed. You should expect dust and moisture to seeps into your precious lens. 3Five Stars A great addition to the Think Tank Line. 5Perfect for changing lenses on the go! First time I saw this lens changers and belt was at a wedding, a videographer had a belt with about 4 to 5 of these all over his waist, and he looked so comfortable with it, effortlessly changing lenses.I thought long and hard if I should buy this system, the belt and the lens changers.. I'm extremely satisfied with the purchase, its so handy and useful. Its very easy to use, feels strong. I feel confident using this, that my lenses are safe and always at my reach. 5I love this pouch I have been using lens pouches for many years. For me it's so much easier to carry a few lenses around rather than using a bag. Recently I've upgraded to f/2.8 lenses (24-70 & 70-200) and they are to big for my older pouches. When I came across this pouch I was thrilled. It easily fits my 24-70mm f/2.8 with the lens hood in the open position and it also holds my 70-200 f/2.8 with the lens hood closed. The back end sticks out a bit but not enough to be an issue. It does add more weight to your belt, but that's because the lenses are bigger. For me it's not an issue. 5Lens pouch has a good quality of material and it's well build Lens pouch has a good quality of material and it's well build.Fits nicely on the speed-belt, and holds several of my lenses including my 17-40 with lens hood in place (this gets very wide in diameter and a little tight in the pouch, but it does fit).Padding at the bottom allows me to drop my lenses in without worrying about any damage.Great idea, perfect execution, couldn't ask for more (well, I want more of them, but you get the idea) 5
