My only complaint (other than the white part easily getting dirty) is that this thing is kinda hard ... I got the white and gray case. My only complaint (other than the white part easily getting dirty) is that this thing is kinda hard to put on and take off. The rubber part isn't as soft as I expected it to be (like on my Otterbox commuter case), but its soft enough to give the phone a good cushion if it falls on the ground. It has a slight dip to keep the curved part of the screen from touching the ground (or whatever surface its on), but im still paranoid about the phone falling and hitting a corner or curve of something.It's also good with my temperate glass screen protector. You have to be sure to position the cut outs of the screen protector exactly on top of the right holes of the phone. Once you do, the front plastic part will snap right on top of the screen protector and hold it into place. But you have to be sure to hold the plastic part down firmly when putting on the back part of the case. As I said before, its a hassle to get the case on. As I was putting the back part of the case on, it kept lifting up the front plastic part which started to pull up the screen protector.The case is also pretty slippery. So for those of you who, like me, like to drive with their phone in their lap or place their phone in their lap when sitting in class or whatever, it WILL slide off. Just an FYI.All in all, everything put together gives my phone some pretty good protection. I like the case, especially since it fits with my screen protector. 4THIS CASE SURVIVED A 3 STORY FALL TO A CEMENT GROUND! Satisfied Customer!I was almost to the third floor of my office building with my phone tucked under my shoulder. I had just received an important call, so I answered quickly to ask if I could to call them back in a couple minutes. Suddenly, the phone slipped and flew over the edge of the three story staircase. i heard a loud slam as my phone crashed to the cement below. I ran the three stories back down the stairs to retrieve my phone. I knew for certain my phone was done. I picked it up and saw that the only damage was the edge that holds the phone in place had chipped off, slightly. I was ecstatic to find my phone wasn't broken and still worked. The kicker to the story is, the person on the other end of the line was saying, "Hello are you there?"I just purchased a my second case because the cracked edge will not longer hold the phone in place.Excellent product A++ Saved my phone -Thank you! 5Very good, but not perfect I have had this case for 2 years now. Case is very good, has survived multiple falls and nothing happened to the phone yet. But the white frame broke, so I guess its shock absorbing capability is now compromised. All the falls have been from my hip height to the floor, so the claim that it will survice 72 ft of drop is VERY SUBJECTIVE since it very much depends on the point of impact as well.Also, after 1st year, many people have started telling me that phone is not very legible at certain angles. So I guess the dust or design issues is making microphone to pick up sound after some use. If you do regular cleaning, it might not be a big deal. 4Best case for the price. Fits my s8+ perfectly. Other then that it is a great case that I have already recommended to co workers. 4Great Protection, Minimal Bulk, Heavy Duty Clip I just cracked my screen on my S8+ last week using a Mophie case and a Gadget Guard Black Ice + tempered glass. Apparently dropping my phone down a flight of concrete stairs is ok but not dropping it 2 feet onto a plastic roller guard on the bottom of my computer chair. It nicked the edge of the curved screen and that was that! So something had to change!I purchased this case after reading A BILLION reviews at least and this case is even better than I imagined. The lip on the curved portion comes up just ever so slightly above the curve but does not interfere. It's literally engineered to the exact point of protection and usability. The holster double as a kick stand and is extremely well built as well. I read a lot of bad things about the screen cover so I just went and bought some Cellhelmet $300 liquid glass so if/when I break this screen again, I'm good to go! I purchased the Armorsuit wet application skin but I'm not even sure if I'll use it. I'm feeling pretty good about this setup as it is. Also, the wireless charging works great.All in all, buy this case, enjoy it, and leave an honest review. If anything changes, I'll update. It's just bulky enough to give you a good grip on your phone but not too bulky to where it's too much or too heavy. I was skeptical at first since this didn't have a cover for my screen (and with the S8+, the whole phone is nothing but screen), but if you lay your phone face down with this case on, the screen actually doesn't even touch the surface. The case bumps out on the top and bottom - giving it protection to the screen if dropped on a flat surface. I still have a tempered glass piece on my screen for extra protection, but as far as coverage to the phone as a whole, it's a really good case.Update: 6/8/2018 -- I've had this case for over a year now. I took the tempered glass piece off my screen a long time ago because they all suck -- just wanted to say this case is still protecting my phone after being dropped several times on various different surfaces! To easily remove the case simply lift one of the flaps over the charge port and headphone jack, insert your finger in the hole and lift the rubber layer away from the hard plastic frame. It comes away verrrrry easily and allows you to run your nail down the sides to release them and simply lift the phone out.Try it and you will be shocked how simple it really is. 5Screw Otterbox! This is the one to trust I work in live music production, which is hard on anything you own! And, I cannot tell you how many Otterboxes just wear out and become useless. Aside from the screen protectors being more a pain than useful, the rubber outer shell just wears out and becomes floppy and prone to dust getting caught in it. The Supcase doesn't suffer the same issues, and I have NO problem with durability. I cannot tell you how many times I've dropped my S8+ and the thing just bounces merrily on. Also, this is MUCH thinner than the traditional Otterbox. The case design also allows for a lip that sits up around the screen, giving me 100% confidence if this is dropped on its edge.What is more impressive is the belt clip. While I don't use it as a belt holster, I have the clip on my backpack when I am on my motorcycle. It sits securely in the clip and doesn't give you any worry that it will fall out. Also, the clip is designed to be secure, but it is really easy to get out even if you are wearing gloves! And, the tabs or the belt clip itself doesn't feel as if it will come apart or break on you.While this does not have a screen protector built in, I actually prefer it. The surface of the Samsung is resilient to scratches anyways, and I found that the screen "protectors" on other cases actually allow dust and moisture to gather underneath, doing more damage than good.Overall, this thing just rocks, and is light years beyond Otterbox without adding a ton of bulk. 5Better than an ottorbox / best case I have been using this case for seven months now...that is longer than my cases typically last because of my 2 and 3 year old children. The back of my phone was cracked so I superglued it and put this case on. It is wonderful!The inner blue part is a flimsy plastic but its only purpose is to hold the phone in the silicone case. Once the silicone case is on the phone doesn't move and everything is secure. My toddler threw my phone (that was already cracked) over the banister on the 2nd floor to the wood floor on the first level of the house. Nothing happened to my phone or the case. I had an ottorbox that wouldn't have been able to handle that.The case is lightweight yet very durable. The charging port has a cover to keep dust out and the area around the camera is raised so you don't scratch the camera when you sit it down. Also, the front of the case is slightly raised. You don't really notice it but it is enough you won't damage the phone if you lay it facebown.If you need a good new case, go ahead and get this one.The price is good and the quality is great. 5
