  • Coverage from single use failures including tears, stains, punctures, fluids and gouges begins on day 1. Mechanical failure coverage begins the day after manufacturer??s warranty expiration, typically 1 year from purchase date.
  • This plan does not cover all damage or mishaps. Theft, negligence, misuse or abuse, wear-and-tear, structural and pre-existing damage are not covered. Repairs performed without administrator??s authorization are not covered. See plan terms and conditions for a full explanation of exclusions and limitations.
  • If a covered repair cannot be completed, you will be reimbursed with an Amazon gift card for up to the amount of your original product purchase price.

Good luck with the warrantyGood luck with the warranty, the lady told me to call the manufacturer because it this coverage doesn't start until after the warranty expires....1Stay away! Although they are sold as furniture warranty, they will say "We only handle mechanical and electrical problems" !!!Stay away. They refuse to help with almost anything. They are sold as a furniture warranty, but when you have an issue they'll say "We only handle mechanical and electrical problems!" Duh... so why is it sold as a furniture warranty then, one should ask!???1When I purchased this Furniture Plan I was never made ...When I purchased this Furniture Plan I was never made aware that I had to go register the plan through a website. When I logged in to register, the Website had multiple links, plans and sites for different products and States. This made navigating extremely confusing & frustrating.I should have been auto-registered for the plan once I selected it especially if I was purchasing furniture.2Warrantech doesn't always warranty your items - BUYER BEWAREI purchased this 3 year furniture protection plan back in November 2017 for a recliner I purchased at the same time. Fast forward to late April, and the back of the recliner breaks."No problem" I think, "I'll just contact Warrantech". The person I spoke with was polite and asked if it was accidental damage, and I explained that it seemed like a defect to me, as I hadn't done anything unusual with the chair. I'm disabled, and I just sit in it.The person I spoke with said she wanted to help but explained that since my recliner had a manufacturer's warranty that was still active, I would have to contact the manufacturer first.The manufacturer is not related to the poor service I received from Warrantech, so I'm just going to focus on Warrantech.A few days later, I get an email from Warrantech stating my claim had been denied, and that my warranty was being refunded. So, no extended warranty on my recliner anymore.I was given a cryptic explanation, stating "If the issue is due to physical or accidental damage, it is not eligible for coverage under your smartguard plan".Somehow, without explanation, Warrantech has determined my chair was damaged due to physical or accidental damage, and now I have no extended warranty.There is literally no reason anyone should purchase Warrantech SmartGuard. They will just deny your claim and refund the price of the warranty. It's a zero sum purchase that just wastes your time. I really wish SquareTrade did furniture warranties; I've always had great service from them.1Rip OffTotal rip off. Does not cover item for the first year. As always, insurance like this is simply a waste of time.1Go out to eat instead!With the hoops they make you jump through, from day one, SKIP this worthless warranty!1The pieces to the stand are not cut correctly.After the tech put the stand together, it looked perfect. I had he leave it sitting where he put it together which was on a large area rug because I needed to have my sons move the stand that I currently had my TV sitting on out of the way and move this stand into place. Yesterday when they came over to do that, we realized that the bottom piece under the stand that basically props the fireplace insert in the middle is too long. It is longer that the 4 legs on the stand which causes the stand to now be balance. It wobbles, which is not acceptable considering I am putting a 55 inch $900.00 smart tv on it. We had to put pieces under the legs to balance it out.At this point, I would have sent it back, but I would have had to have it unassembled and repacked in order to return it, after I paid a Amazon technician $83.00 to put it together. I was very unhappy and so I have decided to keep it. This has not pleased me at all, consider I just paid good money for something I have to now rig in order to utilize.2
