They work great thus farSo I keep getting emails from a "Carlos from KabelDirekt", asking me to rate this cable. Now, the cables are working appropriately, as would be expected. So why the 4 stars, and not 5? Simple, I just got them. I have no way of knowing yet if they are going to be durable and last. But I will you, that they work, I get no hissing noises, or any other interference. These appear to be excellent, high quality cables. If they last longer than 6 months of normal use, I will consider them durable, and amend my rating to reflect that.4These extension cables give me the length I need to mount my 5.1 rear speakers where I need them.These RCA cables are well constructed and give me the length I need to set my rear speakers for my surround sound all the way to the back of the room. I use them to extend my PC 5.1 surround gaming speakers distance. Like most systems my speaker system came with short cables for the rear speakers, but these extension cables made it possible to reach where I truly wanted to mount the rear speakers. The plated connections provide crisp clear sound giving me the upper edge to seek and destroy when online gaming. Yes I like headphones, but sometimes it's just awesome to rattle the entire house with explosions and gunfire coming from every direction. Thanks! I ve been racking my brain and scouring the internet trying to find a solution to this god-aweful hum/buzz from my Audiotechnica LP-60 turntable to my Yamaha receiver phono input. I was using cheap extension cables and thought it was grounding issue but this turntable is supposed to be internally grounded so had no idea what the issue was. Bought two of these bad boys and BAM fixed the hum issue! Ahhh pure audio heaven now!! Remember to buy two and label them red/white so you don t get confused which is which... highly recommend!!!5Sound Quality took a dive with theseThe material seems to be good, however I bought two for a left and right speaker to move my record player further outward in the room. I can instantly tell some frequencies were missing on low volume. I turned it up and tried a few records to get a good idea what was going on. Tried taking out the cables out and moving the record player back to see if the problem was still there. I came to the conclusion that the cables were the culprit. I've lost a host of bass frequencies, similar to that of a phone speaker. I've lost mid and highs a bit as well. Tapping on the plastic cover housing on a record player, you should be able to hear the sensitivity of the needle as the sound echos off the needle, this was barely heard. What happen with these cords is that it took a pleasant rich experience of music and turned it into the quality of a phone speaker just way louder. Completely upset that these were $10s each and yet it made my expensive sound setup useless. I want to return them and get a refund but it's so much a hassle because they didn't come in a small box and there are no sleeves to put them back in. I wouldn't recommend these in any setup.1High quality RCA extensionsI needed an extension for a my Audio Technica turntable, and wanted something with well shielded cables, and after reading reviews found these were highly recommended. I liked the fact you could buy odd amounts even though I need two for this project.The cable is made of plastic, and the ends are not gold plated. But the turntable does not use gold plated ends either. I connected them and noticed that both ends provided a tight connection - not so hard to get on or off but very solid feeling. The real test would be to play a record.Which I did. I noticed not ground hum or interferance. The clarity of the table remained as it was, something I was a bit concerned about.If you need a cable just a bit longer I highly recommend these.
