    Use as back up only!This microphone works with PylePro portable PA system decently, however, when hooked to a more professional system it fails miserably.whether wireless or wired it sounds as though you are in a tin can. Use as emergency back up only.2Very Poor Wireless PerformanceEven if I were reviewing this as a wired mic (the product comes with a short cable to do so), I would only give it a 2. Very low volume in cable mode. But as a wireless mic, it is horrible. There is so much "white noise" inserted into the mix from the mic/receiver that it makes the karaoke DVDs/CDs sound like listening to a weak FM station with lots of hiss. I bought 2 of them - both exhibit the same poor performance. On top of that, the battery covers on both receiver units constantly fall off. Definitely not recommended.1Not suitable for passing around to different people, but fine for one userWhen I tested the mike (which did arrive on time) I thought it seemed great, however, when put to use at the meetings where I wanted to use it, people were yelling at me to turn it off due to screeching and hissing. The sound wasn't due to the typical reason of being too close to the speaker. One has to be very careful to first turn the mike on, then turn the transmitter on. There were times when whoever was using the mike would turn it off and that caused a lot of noise.Probably if one person who understands what to do used this it would be fine but since I am dealing with a bunch of different people using the mike, this did not work well for that.2Not badA little sketchy performance out of the box with the wire attached and sometimes when it's wireless but I used it several times wireless at a wedding and I didn't have any issues. I don't think I would use it for continual use like singing but for speaking every now and then it does the job. I'd probably buy another one for the money.3Noisy audio. Not all plastic.If you are looking for anything other than a karaoke mic, consider saving the $$ and invest in a good UHF system.The VHF band is quite noisy to begin with and there really isn't one system that is better than another.With that in mind, the system falls in line with the rest.3Not worth it! The batterie cover wouldn't stay on and had to tape on.1low wireless microphone performance, transmitter flimsyI bought this to match with a Pyle Pro amp I had previously purchased (Pyle-Pro PWMA930I 600 Watt VHF Wireless Portable PA System/Echo with iPod Dock). The amp I purchased has excellent wireless performance, and I bought this to have a spare when the batteries were being charged. I plugged the transmitter part into my amp, and then realized I had to add a battery to the transmitter (which was included). I plugged the transmitter in and just received a lot of feedback on mostly all of the outputs. I then plugged it into the audio out (obviously sound coming out, but none of the others worked) and received a substandard output. The output was low, and made sounds like static a lot.1I would say 5 stars, but occasionally it seems ... I would say 5 stars, but occasionally it seems to have trouble connecting. I have to turn it on and off a couple of times to get it going. It always works after a couple of tries though, so I don't really have much complaint. 4DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEYThis is a horrible mic. This was recommended by Amazon to go with our PYLE PA system. We purchased it because of the price and understood the other reviews. However, i never knew this would be 100% GARBAGE. The mic red light never came on, we changed multiple batteries, you only hear white noise if using the wireless mic. It works OK with the mic being wired into the PA system. The mic did not work at all for the wireless.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY...NO JOKE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY1Piece of crapIt's a pyle of .... Sometimes Pyle as great products for the price, and this is not one of them. It is extremely sensitive to hum so can't use when standing anywhere near an electrical device. And when you turn it on, be forewarned to turn your volume way down or risk blowing your speakers. Once you do get it working, it's fine from about 6 - 10 feet, but 15 feel you're starting to get static.This was purchased for use in an elementary classroom and is just too much trouble to use.Not recommended. Gave it an extra star for the price...feeling nice.2Worst product I bought at Aamazon in 10 years!when I plugged in the wireless part into the MIC socket, the the pin got stuck and has rendered my 2nd Mic socket useless, this product sucks and cheapest thing I have bought from Amazon. I could only get part of the pin out of the socket, I do not know How else I can fix the socket.I am returning this bad product back to Amazon.Please never buy this product, worst Chinese product ever made.Damaged my $100 Karoke System!All this happened the first time I inserted into the socket, can you imagine, what a filth of a product this is!Update to this review...I paid additional $15 to the repair man to get the pin stuck inside the Microphone socket out, totally I made a loss of $20, never seen a pin being constructed so cheap that it would literally come apart.
