Customer Reviews

Order the right size and twist to install...Make sure to order the right size...60 mm would be needed for most situations (about 2 1/2 inches). The 25 mm is just a nub (about 1 inch). Also, for installation all you need to do is wrap the bracket around the bar and TWIST/SCREW the mount on...dumbly, I thought I needed to pinch the clamp and push the mount on. The mount has grooves in it that allow it to be screwed on...just twist until it's tight...super simple. Great design and works really well. No slippage whatsoever. I have a Sigma Sport Rox 5.0 on it, and works perfectly.5Good on the right handlebarsI bought this too mount my Garmin 910XT to my Tri bike so that I wouldn't have to keep looking at my watch on my wrist which can be annoying when you are in the aero position. As a mount it works just fine, along with the Garmin watch mount it keeps my GPS where I can see it without any movement. The problem with this design is that the mount is held on to the bars by placing the clip over them and then screwing it into the mount body. This works fine if your handle bars are a normal, round shape. Unfortunately my aero bars are not round and are too thick for the mount so I have to place it in a less than ideal position. I haven't figured a way around this yet.4These are great I use these mounts on my aero bar and they work great for adding lights for night riding and for the computer. I have the both sizes. I don't like the computer on the stem and this allows me to put it in a more visible area. These come with two straps to accommodate different handlebar or aerobar circumferences. Easy to install. 5Not for GPS-watch mountingOK first I know it is a "computer mount", but I am thinking it also fits to mount my GPS watch on. And I give 3-star for the unclear description on the website (no exact dimension measurement).I have a Garmin fr220 GPS watch, and I also have a Timex rubber watch mount. I used to mount them directly on the handbar of my roadbike, but as I put a pair of aerobars on, there is no place on the handbar to mount them. Therefore I wanted to buy a aerobar mount. It turns out that this profile design mount is very short and thin. It is thinner than the hole of the Timex watch mount so the Timex watch mount can not grip on this stem. It is shorter than the diameter of the watch, so no way to put the watch on.I do not have a bike computer but I assume the computer should have a much smaller profile than a watch to fit for this mount. And if you are trying like me to mount a watch, it is not the thing you want to go.I do notice there is a review saying he mounted a Timex watch, I used to have a Timex GPS watch and know it is bulkier than Garmin fr220, I can not imagine how he got it done. If it involves a lot more handy work (put some material to make it thicker, etc) then I think it doesn't worth it because I think I can just make such a mount from scratch with the same time.If you know what I am talking, then probably you are of the same situation with me, so do not buy this.3junkThe attachment mechanism is crappy. It doesn't really stay tight, then rotates downwards when you hit a bump, threatening to dump your expensive GPS into the road. I ended up using duct-tape to keep it in place. But I could have taken any random plastic tubing and attached it to my bike with duct tape for equally good results.2pretty cheap and handy If you need something that'll last a LONG time and won't slip with lights or a GoPro... this might not be your top choice. I bought 3 for my Mtn Bike/Commuter... after a while, I am having difficulty keeping them tight so that they don't slip/rotate on the bars.Still: pretty cheap and handy. Wish I could get aluminum ones for cheap. 3Good computer mount.Does just what it was designed to do, what else can you ask, simple fix to a need! good place to mount a speedometer or a heart rate monitor watch on your bike. Some have complained about it being breakage prone, just don't tighten it like your a ham fisted gorilla use a little finesse and it will last for many years.5Great product, 1 issueI just recently bought a road bike and installed some aerobars on it. I decided to purchase the Bontrager speed/cadence sensor because it's ANT+, which is compatible with my Garmin 310XT watch. I also bought the Garmin watch mount with this because I'm not a huge fan of the quick disconnect mount. All in all, I needed something so I could attach my watch mount to the bike because the stem didn't work and I had no space on my handlebars due to the aerobar pads. I found this item on a blog and it looked exactly like the item I needed!Easy installation, just put the plastic pieces together and twice the bar onto to it. Seems pretty durable. My only complaint is that there's no stop inside the bar, so if you overscrew it, it gets loose and you have to screw it on again to get it tight, but have to remember not to overscrew it. I'm still trying to figure out a way to get it to stay, maybe plumber's tape.4Simple, Inexpensive, and Effective.Pretty ingenious design. Using the strap marked 24(mm), I installed it onto the stock aerobar (Profile Deisgn) on my Quintana Roo Kilo triathlon bike and it's a quick & easy installation and a perfect fit - there's virtually no slippage that I can tell, and the mount (bar) mated to the strap easily and without protest. Now I can stick my wireless computer between my aerobars and get on with life. There's an extra strap marked 22(mm) for thinner bars. I was prepared to use teflon tape to remedy any small/minute amount of slippage - although the installation was such a perfect fit that I didn't have to do anything to make it better.Overall, I'd say it's a great product at a great price for aerobar- applications, and I'll have no trouble recommending it to anyone.5Serves its purposeI purchased this item to pair with the Garmin Forerunner bike mount as I needed to mount my Forerunner 305 to the aerobars on my bike. And for that purpose it works well. It was simple enough to attach via the treaded band (of which 2 are included in the packaging, so you have a backup if something happens). Overall, this product serves its purpose and I have not notes any quality problems.5This works just like it shouldI bought two of these, one to hold a bicycling computer and another to hold a video recorder. The video recorder was sort of large,so I didn't expect it to work all that great, and there were some reviews that there was a problem with the threads stripping when the unit was tightened up. First, if you will put some small piece of rubber under the place it connects, it won't slip, and it doesn't need to be tightened to the point that there is a problem. It held the video camera o.k., but is really handy for the cycling computer. There is an extra mounting strap in case you strip one out. All in all, I can't find anything wrong with the device if it is used correctly and used for what it was designed to do.5No commentNo comment1
