Good -- but needs padding for the interior of the bottom edge.I like it, but I'll note that there is no padding at all at the very bottom edge. I found some 3/4-inch braiding to place in the bottom to provide some protection. The manufacturer should consider a re-design to add padding to the bottom.4It's perfect for my laptopI bought this bag for a road trip. It's perfect for my laptop. I holds my ipad as well. Very satisfied.5Super upsetI liked this case so much when I first had it, but I cant recommend it for three reasons: 1. The padding is nice on the front and the back of the bag, BUT is not present around the whole perimeter (bottom of the case). How did I find this out? My should strap broke after 8 months of use sending my case to the ground. I half caught it, but the corner still hit the ground. Now my screen is cracked from the corner even though it was in the case. Very upset this laptop bag did the complete opposite of what I bought it for and was the cause of it. 2. Obviously the strap is poorly sown for the reason above. 3. The extra storage is very thin, so it's hard to fit the charging cable or anything else.My original review was much kinder, but I had to change this review after the strap breaking.2Nice design but too thin for someI tested this bag along with 5 other laptop bags/sleeves for my Lenovo X1 Carbon (5th Gen), which is a very thin and light 13" laptop. (See my reviews for thoughts on the other products.)Pros:- The fit for the laptop is perfect- Generous amount of padding and very soft inner lining meant level of protection is more than adequate.- Sleek, modern look and the strap is adequate. Handles are fine and have fake leather lining.- There were lots of pockets for pens, papers, etc. 4 compartments in total although only two with zippers. Two can be used for handle storage.Cons:- Plastic zipper and strap attachments feel kind of cheap, while many of the cheaper bags had metal parts.- Because the bag is quite slim, it was hard to squeeze much actual stuff into those pockets. Good luck getting a laptop AC adapter in...4Impeccable customer service and a high quality itemNot a paid review - I really love this case. It has more pockets for storing the detachable carrying strap. Other than that, it is super comfortable to hold compared to some of the simpler models. Its pockets are super convenient and a great size for some small pieces. The inside of the case is super smooth and great to slide my macbook pro in, in a hurry. The entire case has enough padding to where I'm comfortable setting it down on a table without too much care.Regarding customer service. I initially ordered a cheaper version ($4 less) and wasn't totally pleased with the design but was going to suck it up because I research it beforehand. I had a customer service rep reach out to me and ask me so how I liked it. I replied honestly and they attempted to understand my issue further at which point they offered me an exchange (up-sale) to this model. I will definitely be saving this seller to my list because not only did they sell me a great product, but they made sure I was happy at the end of the day.5it is very good and I hope the zippers will lastI give this product five stars. For the price, it is very good and I hope the zippers will last. I use it often and have even dropped one with my laptop in it; no problems.I do have a couple of unsolicited comments which would have made the bag more elegant.A. My son uses it daily for his 11" MacBook Air. After about a month, the strap came apart from where it was sewn into the side. Everything else was fine. I e-mailed the company and sent them a picture. They promptly sent out a replacement. My son has been using the replacement for several months now with no issues. The bag is high quality at a great price. I love that it's small and lightweight while providing protection for the laptop.4Just what I wantedPerfect size for my Lenovo. The strong smell upon opening the plastic bag has subsided, so I am happy with my purchase.5
