    Poor manufacturing Paid for a door pull with a keyed- lock mechanism. Thus far I have the package open and the hold the lock SHOULD slide into was not punched out properly. My old pull is broken, hence a replacement, so I'm debating whether to just suck it up and install this anyway, or deal with the broken for a few more days until I find one that WILL allow for a key lock. Will update the review if I install. 2Great replacement for slider locks that fit on the right Great replacement for a sliding door. My original version had become scratched and the lower screw had stripped. I had ordered an alternate but the slot in the door was too long - this fit and covered the slot perfectly. I will say the included screws were a tad too long but easily shortened.Be aware this fits sliders that close left to right - where the lock is on the right of the door. This cannot be reversed... 5Looks beautiful Very good quality and very easy to replace 5No directions This was wrong fit but there were not instructions and more pieces in package then what back cover was showing as how to. New to this homeowner stuff but for most part can do things myself. Due to wrong size I will return. If it was right size I would have You Tubed how to install. 2this seemed like my best option If you're looking for something exclusively on Amazon, this seemed like my best option, but it's far from a perfect one. Had to replace one because it was defective, they don't fit perfectly in my door, and it's hard to open these from the outside because the indentation to pull with your fingers (there's no handle on the outside) is too shallow to get a good grip. Also, I couldn't figure out how to install the key lock into the handle because there is a metal plate where the key lock should go, which was bizarre. Wish there were more options for handles of this size on Amazon. 2Simple installation. Arrived quickly and was well packaged. Installation was easy. It includes an optional key cylinder, but I only needed something that locked in the inside so I did not install the cylinder. The only tool I used was a Phillips screwdriver. 5Absolutely terrible product. Screw broke on first turn It would ... Perfect replacement, Better than what I had and it has a handle and an optional lock. Mine broke internally due to a poor installation. I had to remove 1.4" of aluminum from the area the latch sticks out and that fixed every problem.Tried a drill, sawzall and dremel. Best tool was a small chisel and a pair of channel locks. Make you marks, hammer indents with the chisel, then bent back and forth and presto, perfect fit. Well worth the cost. 5Easy install, loose fit The handle was easy enough to replace and the locking mechanism works properly now. The only problem is I had to tighten it down like a beast to keep it from being loose and shifting around. I feel like this will be a recurrent problem after opening/closing the door multiple times just like the old one. Clearly my door frame is narrower than the hardware/screws. Does anyone know if a spacer or gasket could help out with this? 4No key hole! I needed a new door handle asap because mine broke and I was using a rag to prevent bugs coming inside for 2 days! When I received it, I went to install it and realized the key circle was not punched out of the metal so I can't use the key! I tried pushing it out but it won't budge. The handle fits in my door perfectly but the screws are 1-2cm long so I have to get a couple of washers or shorter screws to make it tighter. Wish I didn't pay so much for a handle that didn't have the key! I don't want to return it because I don't have any other handle to use in the door. Look for key hole opening before opening the package if you can oh and keep your old screws too in case the new ones are too long! 1
