Customer Reviews

Very pleasantly surprisedWow. These earphones cost less than $10? Wow. I've been using Shure SE215s for when I ride my motorcycle and also for when I edit songs (for my motorcycle). I figured it made sense to use the same set of earphones for editing as for listening. But the pair I use on my bike developed cracks all along one of the ear wires. I'd tape over one part and another part would tear and I could see the bare wire. I ordered a replacement set of cables but in the process came across these earphones and decided to give them a shot. The replacement cables for the SE215s cost three times what this entire set of earphones cost! And while they're not quite in the SE215s league, they're very close sonically. And compared to a pair of Koss earphones that cost about the same as the Panasonics, the quality is night and day. The Koss's sucked. The Panasonics's rock. I just ordered 2 more pair. They are actually more comfortable than the SE215s because they don't have that annoying piece that goes around the back of my ear, while still feeling stable in my ears. They also fit perfectly under my helmet; better than the SE215s. Amazing deal for under $10.5If you like in-ear buds, just get these! If you tend to research purchases to death, like me, look no further! Not only did I do the research, I've owned at least a half dozen of these over the last few years. They are what they appear to be and have good sound quality and durability. They're even fairly comfortable. If you like this style of earbuds/in ear headphones, these are the ones. I've found I like them even more than any of the wireless ones I've purchased for a lot more money. I've certainly killed a few pairs of these, but I'm hard on them. I listen to a ton of audible, so my headphones get shoved in purses, shut in car doors, ripped from my ears as I drop my phone, picked up by my service dog...The only thing a bit odd is that the different colors are different prices and those prices change. If you've got a favorite color, I suggest watching the price until the color you want drops in price. I think the cheapest I've snagged a pair of these has been about $7.50.5Best Bang for your Musical BuckI wrote previously about my satisfaction with Panasonic product(s). I bought a second pair because constantly yanking them from my little FM radio and sticking the plug into my phone, and back again, took a toll on the plated surfaces of the jack, eventually precipitating intermittent contact. End of story. Now, much less swapping will be done, but if you're looking for 'accurate' music reproduction, these will be hard to beat at any price, and represent little in the way of heartbreak when they finally succumb to the rigors of the 'Nomadic-Lifestyle'. You can be trendy and spend lots of greenbacks on any number of 'noise-cancelling' and 'base-boosting' headgear, but if you're not into courting premature hearing-loss (as so many seem intent upon effecting) and don't care for SPL's in excess of 86db (the accepted maximum for sustained listening) then these little wonders in compact engineering are for you. At a sixth the cost of a pair of AKG 240's and featherweight, you can still go deaf, if you want (those little auxiliary-amps are a wonderful addition to your travel-kit) these earbuds, in my opinion, represent the apex of in-ear listening pleasure, and I highly recommend them.5Quality gone downI have been a repeat buyer of these earphones in the past few years because of their durability and sound quality. But this time the casing for these earphones separated along the seams within 3 weeks, which appears to be an adhesive issue. The sound quality also was inferior to previous versions of this product. This is either a knockoff or a new design and manufacturing process that has changed for the worse. And Square Trade would not cover this problem under 1 year use, so I will not use them anymore for this type of product.1Mighty decent for the price paid..A new I-pod shuffle -- real good..Accompanied IEM's -- big time pain..And hence the search for inexpensive IEM's that wont break the bank.. Essentially checked these out at the local store and was impressed.. Nothing out of the ordinary though (now dont expect them to blow you our of the water)..Pros ---- segregates the smaller notes.. good bass and treble distinction..-- sound clarity is the highlight with these..-- the ergonomic design sits in the ear and plugs in well..-- 3 seperate silicon caps for different ear canal sizes..-- non sticky wires..Cons ---- They tend to fall out while jogging but only if i am going all jackie chan on those (i have run with better earphones in the past)..-- a bit of static/white noise comes through at times... (it might be due to the static on my parka jacket though)..You cant go wrong with these at this price range.. definite buy for cheap decent build and quality IEM's..5Please read my review before buyingIt fits very very well on small ears for its design and the sound is a 7.5/10 but unfortunately they dont last long, I've bought them 3 times (last one by accident) and an earbud always starts to malfunction within three months of the purchase, at fist I thought it was somehow my fault but now that I've had three of the same model I can confidently say that these are not good earbuds because of the cheap materials its internals are made of. Please just buy earbuds with better reviews and a similar earbud design because the way the earbuds fit on my ear is great1Phenomenal sound and fitLove!! I've been listening to music at work on iphone ear buds. With these, I'm hearing things in songs I've listened to a hundred times, the sound is pristine. I'll be ordering another set for when I listen to music on my phone at the gym. Another great thing, while most of this kind of thing comes with 3 options of covers for the ear buds, every set I've purchased, until these, even the smallest size was way to big. The smallest size of these is perfect.5Great, low-cost earphonesI bought these to have a second pair of earphones with my older Panasonic earphones (RP-HJE120-K Panasonic ErgoFit In-Ear Earbud Headphones RP-HJE120-K (Black) Dynamic Crystal Clear Sound, Ergonomic Comfort-Fit). They are very similar but this one has some slight changes that make it even better while keeping its low cost and good sound quality. Out of the box, these earphones include 2 extra sets of "cushions" so that they can fit into your ears snugly. The design of the earphones lets you actually feel which side is for your left ear and which is for your right ear so you don't need to MacGyver or lifehack a solution (e.g. putting a dab of glue on one side). The sound quality is great, not phenomenal, but good for the price.Older model is black (RPHJE120K) and this one is red (RP-HJE125): Generally, the new design is rounder and some parts are smaller. The biggest difference that I noticed was the 3.5 mm end; it's smaller and now fits into my Galaxy S8 phone case's (Galaxy S8 Case, Caseology [Legion Series] Heavy Duty Protection Slim Protective Rugged Dual Layer Corner Cushion Design for Samsung Galaxy S8 (2017) - Black) 3.5 mm headphone jack. The old one did not fit.So far, I have had no issues and I would reconsider buying this again if I need another.Edit: I wrote this review a couple days ago but I noticed something that I did not notice before. The shape of the newer version is shaped slightly different than the earlier version and this allows for the earbuds to slip out of your hands easier. There is no grip, whereas the older one does. Not a deal breaker but something you may want to consider if you use these a lot.5Not too pricey headphones, but very good enough for everyday usage.Simple and cheap headphones. Exactly what I needed. Comes w/ spare rubber ear pieces in case you lose one. Not exactly noise canceling but if you turn to volume up just enough (but not to the point where you will hurt your eardrums) you will basically only hear your music and soft rumblings of background noise happening around you. I can mow the lawn and still hear the lawnmower, but not so much I can't enjoy my music. I can listen to my music and will get surprised if someone sneaks up behind me.5Not an audiophile but...Excellent earphones for the price... In fact, would be excellent at 3x the price. I bought these as a travel/gym pair instead of taking my 1more triple driver with me. Bought another 2 after listening to them...as a backup and for wife.Sound: 4 starsI actually tried different audio tones to test frequencies for these. Couldn't hear anything under 20-25hz, and very little until about 30-40hz unless I cranked the volume unreasonably loud. Otherwise good deep bass. Mid-range okay, I won't comment in the high as I am approaching 40 and may not be the best judge due to hearing loss.Fit: 5 stars (with foam tips, not included)I am not a big fan of silicone tips. I had a spare set of comply foam 600 which do the job but fit very loosely. I am still waiting for the 400 size. With the phone tips I have listened to these for hours without any issues. Also they have not fallen out of my ear while moving around the house.Cable /connections: 3.5 starsI don't hear too much sound when the cable rubs against my shirt. Also, this has a angled plug but fits my pixel XL and Samsung S3 very well. My only gripe is that the cable is not tangle-free whatsoever. There is no microphoneValue: 5+ starsWould need to give 6 stars if possible. I don't think there is anything that comes close. I did try US tek earphones due to the good reviews but they were horrid. For 9 dollars shipped, this really outweighs any of the minor negatives.5
