    Good tool Works very well 5Well made for good priceHandle fits my hand well and rasp feels right when using and removes material at a good rate to my mind, this was my first narex purchase but going to get a few more tools from them5Excellent ToolsI ordered both the fine and course rasps to add to a basic tool kit for hand tool wood working. They are excellent tools for the money. The vendor delivered them before the expected delivery date. I will order from the again in the future.5Just WowMine just arrived so I put it to the wood and could not be more pleased. Even though this one is "fine cut", it took off wood quite rapidly but in a precise and controllable way, and without getting "caught" in the fibers. I was quickly able to rough shape a piece of 1" x 3" wood into a shape I wanted. I am stepping up from a similar-sized made-in-Mexico Nicholson from Home Depot (not one of the old, great Nicholsons). This Narex works 10x as well as the Home Depot Nicholson and is 10x more comfortable as well, due to the handle. I feel like a world of shaping possibilities has opened up. I know there are much more expensive, European "hand cut" rasps with random tooth patterns out there at much higher prices, and perhaps they give a bit more advantage, but if you aren't in that price category, this is a rasp that works great and is a pleasure to use, so just get it and get to work without worry it's going to hold you back.5A fine raspThis rasp is excellent. I particularly like the handle. It's large and fits my hand well. The teeth cut well, and you can remove a large amount of wood quickly with the coarse rasp. I dont know how it compares to more expensive rasps, but i find these to great rasps at a good price.5Great for the PriceThis is a good rasp for the price. It removes wood at a good rate and, with care, leaves a reasonably smooth finish. You are still going to have to sand or scrape (I suggest scraping), but it doesn't gash the wood. I haven't used a pricier rasp, such as an auriou or gramercy, but this is waaaay better than the nicholson rasps that are currently sold. Pick it up and I think you'll be happy. Be prepared to want to buy a nicer one later.4Great half round raspThis rasp cuts very well. I liked the fact this rasp shipped in a pouch for storage, may not last as long as the rasp. This is labeled as fine cut rasp, but I don't really notice much difference from a rough cut cabinet makers rasp. I ordered another Narex rasp from a prominent woodworking supplier and it didn't come in the pouch. The handle is very solid and feels good in the hand. That is also a nice feature that these rasps come with a handle already attached, no need to purchase separately. You can see in the photo the overall length is about 13.5 inches x .75 wide. The rasp is double sided and I probably wouldn't have ordered a flat rasp had I known it was double sided. One side half round and the other being flat. I have been using this for roughing out coped joints on red oak baseboard, and it cuts very well. Well worth the money when you need a quality hrasp.5Good, not the bestGood for the price tag. Not a he best rasp I ve used. If you want any the best you ll spend 4x but you get what you pay for.4I also have a 10 inch but find the 8 ...I also have a 10 inch but find the 8 is so much nicer in my hand I can feel the work and the wood5Good quility raspThis rasp is the one that I keep in the toolbox. Very handy size. Teeth are very sharp and well formed.5Worth every penny, brilliant quality toolThere's no questioning the build quality, usability, and just the feel of this in the hand is superior to any others I've used. Especially blows away anything with plastic parts -- this is a real tool and worth every penny. I have since bought several more from Narex; equally pleased with all.5
