A well made, sturdy mount. I received this TV wall mount at a discount from the seller for evaluation.I have to be honest, I wasn't expecting much when I ordered this mount. I had 2 smallish TVs to mount recently, one in my camper, another in my basement near my treadmill. For the camper, I bought an inexpensive but highly rated mount from Amazon. For the basement TV, which was smaller, I opted to try this mount. It looked more "spindly" from the photos, but I was only mounting a 22" TV.I was shocked when I picked up the box, it was much heavier than I expected. Unpacking it, it quickly become clear why. This is made from heavy gauge welded steel. For a single-arm design, it's more stable than the dual-arm mount I bought for the camper. The only plastic on the mount, are the cable clips, caps for the hinge bolts, and the pivot joint for the TV plate. As others have indicated, the cable clips aren't that great, they're fairly flimsy. So far though, they're holding up to a few HDMI and power cables running through them.Included is a decent selection of bolts for mounting the TV to the plate, along with a few washers, and plastic spacers. The spacers were a nice touch, the other mount I bought didn't come with any, and the included bolts were too long, so I had to improvise. This also had bolts that were too long, but the spacers and washers took care of that. The included lag bolts are quite long, though I do wish they were hex heads, rather than philips. Even with pre-drilling with the recommended drill size, one of the 3 seized up in the stud %80 of the way in, and if I try to go any deeper, or extract it, the screw bit starts jumping threatening to strip the head. The other 2 went in well, and the mount is sufficiently sturdy that it's not a problem. Screw heads just lack the bite for this application. This mount was a few dollars less than the other one I bought, and seems to be much sturdier. It swings more smoothly. Should I need another mount, I'll be ordering this one again. 4Holds my 28" and came w/ all mounting hardware and screws needeed :) Great bang for the buck.I was skeptical at first that it would hold my 28" but now after using it for 6 or so months I feel it would safely hold a bigger screen.Works great if you kind of use 2 hands and adjust it into position.Came w/a bunch of different screws for wall/bolts for back of TV for many applications/different tv's / monitors. Love that (no running to hardware store)!!!I have it in my RV bedroom holding my 28" computer monitor and it does just fine.I unplug power cable and hdmi wire and lift up on monitor to remove it before travel and then when we arrive I slide it back onto the arm as the mount stays on the back of the TV, plug wires back in and it's ready to use.The wire holder clips that snap into the arm to neatly hold wires in place don't work for more than a few weeks but zip ties will do the job.I am planning on getting another one so I can bring the monitor into the main living area of the RV (when needed) and have another hdmi and power cable ready in place. 4Great product and does what I wanted it to do. I ordered this three days ago and it arrived on time. My son came over and installed it for me. It was a cinch to install and took less than an hour. In fact, it probably took longer to find a stud. We had to lower it two inches because initially, we put it too high on the wall. I have neck issues and that is the primary reason for mounting the monitor. I suggest you be very certain of your placement before you install it. I took the height of the monitor and divided it in half to determine where I wanted the bracket centered. It didn't take but a few minutes to correct the placement but it meant drilling new holes. The bracket used three rather long screws that provide plenty of stability and security.I am thrilled to have my large monitor mounted and off my workspace. I write and as you can see from the attached image, I have a lot more room with it on the wall. When extended the full length of the arm, the monitor will be about 20 in. from the wall. The screen tilts up or down. The bracket works just like it says it does and is quite easy to adjust the arm and placement of the monitor. I use my monitor for watching movies as well as computer work so it will be repositioned often. If you don't use the padlock feature to prevent theft, be very careful adjusting the tilt of the monitor because you could lift it out of the retaining slot. It isn't likely to happen but I felt like it was possible when adjusting the tilt. The only negative about the bracket it that the monitor is nearly 4 inches from the wall. However, in my case that isn't a major issue. I just wished it were a bit more streamed lined. Probably not realistic to expect that in this kind of device. 5Loaded and Locked I bought this to install a 32" lcd television in my semi. I love multiple things about this bracket. I'll limit them to the top 2. First, it had a bubble level in the main bracket, so I was able to drill a hole in the top mounting bolt point. Afterwards, I was able to adjust it to be level easily. Second, I'm not sure how common a feature this is, but I was able to put a padlock thru a hole in the back of the mount. Since this is in my semi, I don't worry about my television being stolen. Of course, if someone wants it (the tv), they'll get it, but they had better come prepared. 5Great Product for the Price Great value for the price. Readers must keep their expectations realistic, however, because the wall mount bracket is not the same as a monitor arm. This bracket does not adjust up and down, so once you drill and bolt to a wooden stud, the vertical height is fixed. I didn't appreciate the gravity of the dilemma until installing the Mount-It! and then realizing that my TV was too high for comfortable viewing. But that's my problem and not the fault of Mount-It! However, the company should emphasize this point to let potential consumers know beforehand to prevent misunderstandings. The mount has solid construction and serves a very utilitarian presentation and function. If you want or need more functionality with a more premium look, then I suggest researching mounting arms with vertical height adjustment function. Expect to spend at least double or triple the price of this mount for articulating monitor arms. Otherwise, this mount is a great deal because it can hold more weight than other models at the same price point. 4Even works for computer display I am in the process of building a computer workstation using IKEA - IVAR parts for the supports and shelving. My main work surface area has an overhead shelf that I had to allow about 23 inches so my HP monitor HP ENVY 32-Inch QHD Media Display with Bang & Olufsen Speakers that I purchased from Amazon, would fit The work surface has a depth of 29 inches so when the display was against the back edge it was sometimes difficult to read printed material. Instead sliding the display with the stand back and forth I decided to mount the display on a system that would allow me to adjust the position of the display. The first mount I tried was one that would affix to the work surface Heavy Duty Gas Spring Single LCD Arm Stand Monitor Desk Mount Supports Heavy Monitors, The Weight At Least More than 20lbs, Fits for 17"-34" Monitor. I had some problems using this mount as I could not get the mounting surface low enough to attach the display. So my next option was using a mount that would attach to a wall. Instead of securing the mount to the wall I fabricated a couple cross member between the shelf system vertical supports and attached the mount. With the swivel arm fully extended I was able to attach the display with no problems. There are two main components for this system. The first is the swivel arm assembly. The second is a separate assembly that attaches to the back of the display with then slides onto the end of the arm.I have been using this mount assembly for about three months and I am pleased with the results. If you are concerned about using a mount assembly designed for a TV versus a computer display I would like to point out that it appears that manufactures of TV's, computer displays and the different types of mount assembles all tend to use the same general hole alignment patterns. 52 of 4 holes didn't line up with tilt down. 4 stars because it was cheap, mounted easy, and had a built in level. Lost a star because the bracket seems to be oriented 90 degrees the wrong way. Basically, the TV only tilts on one axis and it's the opposite axis of the orientation of the TV. Imagine that the tilt down feature was instead tilting left to right. This is because the wide TV has wide holes and the wide holes width on the bracket are side to side. They should be up and down, or maybe my TV is funky. I dunno. But didn't matter. My 32 was so light I only mounted two holes that lined up and she holds. Easy. 4excellent small/mid size TV mount. Excellent product, does exactly what I want.I purchased this to mount a 32 inch TV in my guest room / home office, and it works fine. I wanted to avoid a large bracket on the wall.Assembly / Installation: about 10 minutes.Mounting the bracket to TV is standard 4 hole system, screws and spacers are includedArm to wall is done with 3 bolts. I have cinder block walls behind drywall -so I used the included anchors. The screws were long enough to easily reach, even though I sunk the anchors through the drywall and into the cement wall behind it.There is a built in level, so its hard (er) to screw up the hole alignment. FYI, my TV is 29 inches wide and the arm is long enough so i can display the TV perpendicular to the wall. The TV bracket has a dovetail type knob on it that slides into a receptacle on the arm. It can be secured by a lock, bolt, rock or something. I'm just relying on gravity. The arm articulates well, and rotation/tilt is easy but not too easy. There are a few helpful clips on the arms to hold cables.Good product, good price. 5Great, solid TV mount! I'm very happy with this TV mount! (Swing-Out Articulating Arm)I had to run out to Lowes and snag a stud-finder, because the knock method wasn't cutting it for me. I discovered that my bedroom studs are on 24" centers. Anyway, I got one of those Zircon Center-Finding stud finders (the L70), found the center of a suitable stud over my desk and had my 40", 21lb Polaroid TV, which serves as my pc-monitor, up on the wall in less than 30 minutes.Very sturdy product, plenty of hardware for mounting options. This is a solid, sturdy mount. The built-in level is very helpful, too. Once screwed into the center of a stud, it ain't going anywhere. Looks really good, too. Would certainly recommend this Mount It! TV mount. I might even be ordering a couple more soon so I can set up a little triple-monitor gaming den.Get this product! (And don't forget a stud-finder if you don't have one) 5Great small TV wall mount! It took me a couple of hours to install calculating all offsets so the center of the TV ,hit a bullseye but I'm particular. I had to purchase drywall anchors because it only came with masonry or wood stud wall anchors. The ones I used had a high shear rating and will handle the 14 combined pounds of the TV and Mounting arm weight with ease. It came with a great selection of TV back panel screws, washers and other misc. Fasteners. I wished they had provided washers for the M4 mounting bolts. I had to use others in the kit that were sized for one of the other bolts and the head of the bolt almost pushed through the washers because they are too big. The backing plate has a good host of mounting configurations to choose from to match most TV's. The cable routing hangers are a great idea. The joints of the arm were fastened very tight for shipping so I had to loosen them all until I got a good balance of snug yet movable at will. The integral mounting level was also a great idea. Once the mounting bracket is mounted, you can easily pop the TV on or off the mounting arm. The unit is very well designed and very heavy duty at an awesome price! If I ever need another for a small TV....I'd buy it again in a heartbeat! Great product!! 5
