One word: Yes! Got a good deal on some pretty decent satellite speakers, so I figured I'd upgrade the RCA cords while I was at it. I did a before and after test, and... yeah, there was a very noticeable difference in sound quality between these and the spaghetti-string RCA cords the speakers came with. Shipping was unexpectedly fast, and the price-to-quality ratio is hard to beat. Recommended! 5Poor Customer Service, some cables are defectiveI've bought two of these cables, a 3ft, and a 6ft. The 6ft had a single plug that is incredibly tight, being difficult to attach to devices and even more difficult to remove.Upon requesting to replace this, I was informed that this was a feature and not a bug and that all of their cables were like this due to the fact that apparently people only ever use them on such high-end stereo systems that they never need to remove them. Two reasons that's ridiculous (beyond the fact that people will buy RCA cables for more than one application): the first is that this is an issue with one plug out of four on a single cable, the second is that I have the exact same cable in a different length and it doesn't suffer from this at all. After relating to them why I felt this was not a feature and in fact a defect, their support responded with "We will be back after the weekend". That was Nov 7, it is now Nov 20 and I have heard nothing. The cables are ok for what they are, but I'll take my business elsewhere.2Thick and hard RCA lines. These guys are built for demanding quality. If you want some good sounds, you need these wires. My only gripe is that they don't hold on very well to an amplifier. If you are using it on your car, make sure your amp is secure and that the wires are secure too. Best way is to screw it into place using a wire holder/clamp. 5Stiff, thick cable. Loose plugsNeeded a short run of rca cables to go from my AudioControl lc7i to my amp. These rca cables were coming loose and losing connection. The stiffness of the cable combined with the loose plug connection were pulling out the cables. I tried to slightly crimp the tangs to give a tighter plug connection, but the "tangs" just snapped off. They are not really meant to be messed with. I'm sure in the right situation, these are just fine. In my situation, I'll need to find more flexible cables.3loose connectors and stiff insulationI generally do not write product reviews, but I think this product deserved a bad one (and Monoprice generally has fairly decent quality products). I probably should have taken more notice to the multiple reviews stating the insulation was stiff and that the connectors fall off, but you would think it wouldn't be that hard to make a halfway decent RCA interconnect cable that worked. Well, that was wishful thinking. As many of the other reviewers have stated, the connectors are loose and provide a very weak connection. As my application involved a connection raised a few feet from the ground, the weight of the cable itself pulled on the connectors enough to make them pop off. Furthermore the insulation is way too stiff also which likely exacerbates the issue. I would look elsewhere for RCA cables. There are many more options in a similar price range that actual do what RCA cables are meant to do, connect two audio devices and stay securely connected.1Hot garbage I purchased 5 of these cables and not a single one worked correctly. I was using these as interconnects from an amp to an AVR, and two would not pass a signal at all. The remaining 3 were intermittent and lead to frequent cutouts. A cheap, thin radioshack RCA cable I had in a box (probably from the early 90s) did not have any of these issues.I have and continue to use many monoprice cables, but avoid these at all costs. 1VERY well madeAs usual, just about *ANY* cable made by Monoprice is something worth purchasing. However, I'm not always convinced the amount of money you pay is worth what you get. However, this one has now been pulled up the inside of a wall, across the attic and down the inside of another wall and works like a champ.5Cables are thick which is good and bad Initially concerned they would be too long for my 98 Dodge Ram. I mounted the amplifier on the rear wall of the cab. Ran cables down passenger side door sill to the rear wall then over to the center. Ended up with just the right amount of cable, maybe 6" to spare. Cables are thick which is good and bad. Running three sets of these cables can be a challenge. Ends are secure to the cable, and securely engage with both amplifier and head unit. So secure they can be a pain to remove. I'm still setting things up and tuning. So far no noise in the system (never have noise issues even with cheap cables). If I could change one thing about them would be their flexibility. If the cables are going to be that large I would like them to be more flexible, especially when inserting the head unit and the cables are exerting notable resistance. If I were to do it again I probably would have purchased the next lower series of cable. 4Too STIFF!These terribly inflexible cables look great, but they are so rigid, they cause all kinds of hookup problems. I find that anytime I move my amp to adjust it, these cables will pop out of their sockets! Amazingly annoying. I'm looking for cables that are silky smooth and relaxed. These are as tough as coathangers!1Much Better Than Stock CableI have to say that this cable is amazing compared to stock cable and some so called hi end starter cables. If this cable had the name Monster in front of it, it would cost 40 dollars. This cable is thick, offers amazing shielding, and is a much improvement over stock. I bought this cable to connect my Bose Solo 15 to my TV, I was using the stock cable that came with the speaker. I live in NYC where there is much interference due to the trains and taxi cabs. Once I bought this cable and changed out the stock cord it was a major difference. The bass improved and there was silence when I raised the volume all the way. What do I mean by that? Connect your stock cable and raise the volume all the way and listen, if you can hear noise, light static and a light hiss sound, that's the problem with stock cables with lack of or no shielding at all. Which can damage you product, now change out the stock and place this cable and raise the volume all the way. And you will notice the difference right away.Great cable, if you are using this to connect to your TV, believe me you don't have to spend more than what this cable cost because you are getting a great cable for a great price.5Super high quality, very THICKI ordered the 50ft length and was suprised at how heavy duty this cable was. The cable is about as thick as a coax cable, for each side of the signal, so the thickness of 2 coax cables side-by-side! That said, it's a very heavy duty cable and I'm sure it will last pretty much forever. I had no issues with the connectors; they slid onto my RCA inputs easily and I had no issues with the sound or signal transfer. FWIW, this is cheaper at monoprice.com, but you have to pay shipping unless you meet their minimum. I picked up a Used - Very Good from Amazon Warehouse and it was like-new.5Great cableThis is a heavy cable. Just what I was looking for. Other reviews added that the plugs came apart. I don't see that happening with my cable. There is a good tight fit, have to twist to get them off so I can see it may happen but I don't plan on unhooking my equipment frequently only when I have to. I think this will last me a lifetime. I'm not worried at all about the craftsmanship of this cable. I would highly recommend this cable to anyone.5I hate and Love these....These are king of cheap cables dont bother with anything else just get these ...get over the looks thing these are ugly but they work how they are supposed to. I hate the way they look they are rugged and raw and cheap but i love that the sound is perfect coming out for price paid. You will not have any interference with these cables unless you are buying some blue jeans cables or some other high end product just buy these and let them tide you over till you can. They are big bulky and ugly but i havent found anything that comes close for overall sound ive tried a lot of cables. I cant stand noisy cables if you have noise with these cables its some other audio component producing it or somethings broke or you did something wrong. Its the sound that matters not how the cable looks people are just gonna have to get over that..5FOR THE MONEY, these cables are great. For audio cables at this price point, you really can't beat these monoprice cables. They are really very good for how cheap they are.Keep in mind some people spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on these kinds of cables. These things cost under 10 bucks most of the time if they are a standard length. Thats... VALUE. And as far as my ears can tell there is very little if any artifact in the sound from them so... why bother spending so much money when these work so well? The ONE gripe i have about these is kind of a 2 part thing but essentially its the heads. They are nice looking and substantial and thats great, but the tubes are a little too big for some equipment for them to be side by side. It almost feels like you are putting some strain on the connectors. And again with the heads, the collars on the jack is so stiff on these things once it flexes out, they don't always grip as good so, try not to pull them on and off over and over and you will be golden.4Audio rcas Seem to be decent cables I already have one set and loved them so ordered more I run a 4000 watt audio system and wanted them to keep out the interference that most cheeper cables have which these do decent 4
