    but they re just fine.. I was worried that these would be too flimsy, but they re just fine... Not sure what application this light is intended for, but it will NOT work for new construction or remodels.I would highly advise you avoid this particular light. They DO get brighter for a short time when motion is sensed. I have one on my garage gutter and one on a 6' high fence next to a gate into my yard. They get the job done. 5Great Lamp! I love these lamps so much that I ordered two more to the three that I already have. I have a classic car and these lamps from Lightess look amazing to showcase the car in my garage. They are high quality and have a very strong base plate so there is no sag of the light fixture against the wall. I read some of the feedback from others complaining about the size of the base plate not covering up the light fixture box and I don't understand it because the base plate is about an inch larger than a standard 4 inch electric box. I hope these pics help you if you're thinking about getting new lamps for any room of the house. 5Really easy to install on a gutter The light is bright and functions properly. Really easy to install on a gutter, it provides a dim white light at night time, and a bright white light when it detects motion. It would have been nice to have it only turn on at night when it detected motion, but not the biggest deal. I have only had it a week, with some heavy rains, and it is still functioning properly. I will update my review if there are any issues, but 100% satisfied right now. 5Decent No significant complaints w this light, 4 stars because overall construction is a bit light but most products are these days. I saw all the reviews w complaints about mounting. I was ready for this and knew I'd have to find a solution. In my case I already had an extension box and dual-lamp setup on the house. I already had the cover as shown, I simply plugged all three holes and drilled a 3/8" hole in the center plug. The securing nut provided w the light fits in the backside of the plug perfectly. Very sturdy, does not sag. 4
