    Quality seems very good, especially considering the priceProduces bright, neutral, daylight-like light, and works perfectly with a dimmer. Doesn't produce any humming or buzzing noises at full brightness or dimmed. Quality seems very good, especially considering the price. They are very thin and produce no heat to speak of, so they can be installed in very tight spaces. The full-aluminium body looks nice once installed.Perhaps my only nit would be that the swivel mechanism is a bit finicky.5I am very happy with themI bought one warm white light and one bright white light. They both work perfectly. I am very happy with them. I bought cheep 2 prong plug ends and plug them directly into an extension cord. No problems. Very bright lights. The aluminum seems of very good quality. The springs are strong and hold the light in place well. The diagram shows 68 mm cut-out, but I went with a 2 and 3/4 inch hole cutter. You can use any size hole between 68 mm and 3 inches. The diameter of the outer metal part that shows is almost exactly 3 inches so I would not recommend using a 3 inch hole or larger. I mounted them in 3/4 inch wood, but they would work in anything from very thin board to about 1 inch thick. They took less than 2 weeks to arrive, and I am still amazed they can ship these from China and still sell them at this great price. I would like to remove both incandescent and fluorescents where I can and replace them with LEDs. This light, when installed is as bright as the incandescent I still have in use and somewhat brighter than the 60 watt equivalent fluorescents. So for sure this one will be used and changed out for the incandescent bulb and most likely I will order more for the others I will be replacing. If this Led gets anywhere close to the projected life of Led bulbs, I will be saving some money. The price of this light on sale here on Amazon for $8.36 and free shipping for Prime Members this is a good deal in lighting, considering the savings over florescent or incandescent, considering the lifespan. I like it and I will return to this review if this product lets me down or exceeds my expectations, with another Star added or removed as necessary. I'll be buying more to replace the other legacy lights.4Easy to installMy lighting guy wanted to charge me $50 for each one of these. I bought them from Amazon and installed them myself! It was super easy to pull down the old ones and substitute for these. Great project. Did it all in a few hours.5Light it up!Love these guys. The drivers are minimal at best, and once I worked-out how to get the best use from both fixtures and drivers, these are perfect. Have installed 13 so far on one job and have 16 more planned. Make sure you are getting them direct through Amazon, though, and not China. Delivery time difference is significant.5Easy hookup, replaced 50w halogens Came out nice.. put 4 into the top cabinets.. hooked up to a zwave dimmer.. works great.. matches the G8 leds on the bottom 5Love these lightsLove these lights, but they must be wired to 120VAC, you cannot eliminate the mini-transformer that is factory installed to daisy-chain multiple units to a single transformer. A 12V DC transformer would not light it up, and a 24V DC transformer smoked one in about 5 seconds, so trust me, it will not work. Made installation a bit tricky, but one I got them wired up, they work great. Perfect lighting for over the kitchen countertop, NOT UNDER CABINET, but over the sink.3Great, once you power them correctlySo far, so Good. The only problem I had, is that when I used their driver that was included, the light was really dim. I measured it, and they were running at 2.6 volts!I bought a third party supply to power them at 12V, and it works although they were a little too bright. I settled by using a Dimmer, and now I can dial in the exact amount of light I want.They feel solid, and if they hold up for the next several months, I plan to buy more to install all throughout the house.4
