Decent case for early 2011 MBP 15" Anti-glare Decent fitting case. I Installed this on my early 2011 Macbook Pro 15" with an anti-glare screen. Only complaint is the rear bottom corners by LCD hindge do not have full protection. Stays on securely, hopefully will last longer then Speck brand case I replaced which crumbled into pieces. 4Cover and Protection for older investment ! this seems like a great purchase as i wanted to protect my older MacBook from scrapes and dents. It was not really easy to install as some of the clips along the edge didn't catch at first.There could have been a small instruction sheet with maybe a three or four step procedure! But worse of all this cover picks up fingerprints ALL the time.It seems there is no way to remove from the cover.Hopefully you do not have a lot of body oils as this will look worst over time. 3Looks great but had an issue with the rubber feet. Nice fit and looks great, only reason why i did not give it four stars is because the rubber feet fell off after about a month. 4Perfect Match So far so good! Love this computer! It seems the older model Apples have so much more to offer from more ports to DVD etc. And for a journalist/author these keys are so much better than the newer models (which I have but not too thrilled about). The newer model Macs offer flat keys that half the time stick not good when you re on deadline. The older model keys are up higher off the keyboard and so much easier to type fast and error free. This seller backs up his refurbs and is easy to work with. 5Okay, Not Great Like:The design ideaThe rubber feetDislike:The way it attaches to MacBookNot really rubberized I think it s a good design, but I m skeptical about its long-term ability to stay attached to the MacBook. I tried to take a pic of the minimalist clip design, which is great, because you don t want a bulky, snag-prone clip on. I ll update my review when I discard/replace the cover.My second issue is this item is not rubberized the way I was expecting/hoping. The video demonstrates it s a firm case, but it also looks, and is described as rubberized, which I think is grossly over exaggerated. It s not a smooth plastic, and it s not rubbery. This concerns me, because it essentially feels like I spent money to add an additional hard case to my MacBook, which means whatever hits the outside is still a direct impact transfer to the computer inside.I want to like this case, but I m not ready to give it 5 stars. If I had it to do again, I would have purchased a different product. 4Fits great looks good!!! Fitts great will buy again !!!! 5It's okay. It's okay. Definitely protective if you're traveling. My macbook pro mostly stays at my desk, but I wanted the case for any accidental drops when carrying it around the house, or the off trip to the university campus or my office. Two stars because it doesn't seem to fit everything properly, the plastic near the track pad digs into my skin after a but, and it causes my laptop to overheat very quickly, severely cutting down usage time. This is the worst when downloading something. I'll be returning the item. 2This case is good for the price This case is good for the price, but not up to the standards of what my Incase was. It fits well on top, with all sides flush and the clips working well to hold the case on the screen. The bottom, on the other hand, fits ok, but the edges come up about 1 mm higher than the laptop making the edges irritating to the wrists and hands while typing or using the trackpad. Again, for the price, it does it's job, but it's nowhere near the fit and finish of the old Incase (that's no longer made). 3Great case for 2012 MacBook Pro A few weeks ago I went to Best Buy to find a case for my 2012 MacBook Pro. I was told that the case would fit my 15 MacBook. For $39.95 I assumed it would work just fine. It did not. I could not even get it to fit my device. I took it back and ordered the Kuzy case. The Kuzy was far less expensive but surprisingly has a much better feel. I really like the feel of this caseOh, and of course it fit Perfectly!It s strange, I spent less money and received a far better product than the one from Best Buy.I definitely recommend this product. Follow the Kuzy instructions for identifying your computer model to guarantee you get the right fit, first time. 5Excellent product, it can definitely take a hit Updated post:So I dropped my laptop recently and the case cracked but it protected the laptop ala Kevin Costner in Bodyguard :DI bought a replacement case (pictures attached) since I was impressed by how the first case took the hit. It is a nice fit on my mid 2010 MacBook Pro and I'm attaching pictures to show how nicely it fitsI recently purchased a used mid 2010 MacBook Pro laptop and was a little bothered by the little tear and wear that came with it, including one of the legs being almost non existent. I wanted to give it a little makeover without the gooey stuff left behind by decals and wanted it to be protected from the everyday wear. As soon as I got my case I knew I had made the right choice, granted I've only had it for a few weeks but so far so good....love the black slick look now rather than the original color. I'd recommend it!! 5
