    Worked for Chevy Impala 04 EASY to program.This Works beautifully with my 04 Chevy Impala. The instructions were simple, easy to read and worked like a charm. The company also provided a list of other solutions to get help with installation for anyone that needed it. So I felt like if I could not get it to work, they were right there to help. VERY EASY I wish I had gotten this sooner, life with a key fob is so much easier when you have kids!5Make sure it's the right one for your car.Had to replace the key fob for a 2005 Impala. Tried to find one locally and they were quite expensive. Found this one which is designed specially for our car. The manufacturer included a web address with programming instructions, which took less than five minuets to do. One word of caution. Make a absolutely sure the fob you're ordering fits your car. I found that many look the same but might not work. Don't just rely on the picture, use the fit your car option.4Was very easy to programPurchased this for an older used vehicle I purchased that the previous owner lost the key fob to. Was very easy to program. It may vary by vehicle but you might need to have the default stock radio in the vehicle to program it though, as I did. Easy installation, all the buttons work. My only problem with this and a subtraction of a star is that the panic button is VERY sensitive. I found myself setting it off in my pocket a couple times. I took the case apart and filed down the contact from behind the button so you have to press it harder to active now and no problems since.4look before you leapBought this a year ago thinking i could wait and buy a key to go with it and then go to a locksmith and get it all done at once ,boy was i dreaming. this fob will fit and operate some of the cars that it says it will but I took it down to the local locksmith and was in formed that it may look like the right one ,its inside that counts and not all the buttons do the same thing for every car ,so now I have to purchase the fob that is for a 2003 Cadillac De ville and then with the key that they cut and download the information into the chip and the fob and that's $34 for the fob to program it and they will wave the $35 one time fee ,because we are having them do both at the same time.,To cut and program the key is $64.95,and a one time fee of $35 for the service,Very disappointed with this seller for not pointing any of this information before wasting $161Good item at a great priceMy original car remote needed to be changed and it was cheaper than going to the dealership to get another one. Works great...5UNINTENDED RESETI needed a second key FOB for the car I recently purchased which only had one (1) key and one (1) FOB. I ordered this product when came via Prime very quickly with instructions to go to the company's website to obtain specific instructions for my automobile. It was simple and straightforward and off I go to my vehicle. I followed the instructions in detail, the new FOB worked perfectly and I got out of my automobile, leaving the new and new FOB in the ignition. I tried the door handle and ooops I had locked the door with the new remote and could not gain entry. But that was not going to be a problem ---- I had the old FOB. I retrieved the old FOB and to my total dismay it no longer worked properly.What was not included in the instructions was the fact that adding a new FOB requires all existing FOBs to be reset at the same time while the radio is operating in the FOB reset mode. I learned this fact after I called the company and asked them how to get all the FOBs operating on the same code. They told me that all FOBs had to reset at the same time. Without a second key I was stuck and had to call AAA to gain access to the vehicle. I really like the product, it works great but I really wish the caveat had been included in the instructions to have prevented the UNINTENDED RESET.5Its easy for keys or whatever is around the fob to ...Im giving this 3 stars because it works as the original, but, as others have mentioned, the buttons are higher than on the oem. Specifically, the trunk release button. Anyone with an Impala knows if the car is locked and the trunk pops and is not closed, the alarm will sound every half hour. Its easy for keys or whatever is around the fob to press the button in an enclosed space. I recommend buying the oem fob.3Perfect for 2003 Corvette but remember......Perfect and cheap.I bought a new-to-me 2003 Corvette that was missing one remote (original owner sat on it). I was happy but a little skeptical when I found this replacement on Amazon Prime.It arrived in 2 days and programming was a snap! Classic 5 minute (or less) job. BUT I'm glad I read other reviews. If you have a working remote you MUST re=program it. Very simple in the Corvette--the display prompts you to after you program one to program the other. JUST BE SURE TO DO IT.I plan to use the new fob and keep the original as my backup/spare. My key FOB was old, and finally stopped working. I found instructions on Amazon on where to look for the FCC # on the old one, and easily found the correct replacement. It came with instructions on how to program it to my locks. Easy-Peasy!!5
