15" MacBook Pro Retina not a good fitThe sleeve is very attractive and appears well-made, however it doesn't close properly with a 15" MacBook Pro Retina inside. The sleeve is a tight fit, causing the magnetic fastener to be slightly off-center. Hoping it will stretch a little. Giving only 3 stars because the computer doesn't fit as advertised.3Good for tablets, not so much for magazinesI wanted a slim case to carry a couple of magazines, occasionally my tablet, and a pen/pencil for my daily commute. This appeared to fit the bill - slim, leather, flap closure. Well, almost.First, the size is just deep enough for a standard, 8.5" x 11" magazine, but a wider (9") magazine either prevents the flap from closing, or the magazine gets folded over. Second, the main interior compartment is unlined, suede leather (but the rear slot is lined), which means magazines and paper don't slip easily into the main compartment. In the main compartment, there is a business card slot but no pen/pencil loop. Finally, there is no closure on the lined rear slot, so when I accidently grabbed the bag upside down, the papers in it fell out. It would make sense to me to line the interior compartment (easy insertion/extraction), leave the exterior slot unlined or add some sort of closure (prevent loss of contents).I considered getting the larger size, but since it cost nearly twice as much, I will tolerate the mangled magazines.3Not as good as the reviewsI read the many reviews and was disappointed when I received it.It is not the traditional leather color, it has a tint of yellow/orange about it.I'm used to a portfolio that has a rounded bottom to make it easier to carry. This one has a sharp lower edge which gets a bit uncomfortable if you are carrying this a significant distance to a meeting.It is also so tight that there is not much room inside, even for just a few documents.2Beautiful, high quality sleeve for scratch-protection (no heavy duty though)Beautiful sleeve, nice quality, fits like a glove around my macbook air (13 inch). It keeps my laptop safe in my backpack during daily use and looks incredibly stylish. Funny detail is that it lets you charge your macbook without having to take it out of the sleeve, thanks to a small opening for the plug. Only downside because of that is that it is not waterproof. Also, it does not protect your laptop against cold or bumps. It works great against scratches though: after a few months my laptop still looks like new.4Great Product at Competitive PriceI couldn't have asked for a more excellent product. The leather is genuine and has that wonderful "new leather" smell to it. The color is just as the picture shows and has not faded or washed off in the two weeks that I've had it. I'm using this sleeve to hold my 13 inch MacBook Pro retina that has a speck hard case on it and it works perfectly. The magnetic lock doesn't lock all the way into place but it still holds the flap shut. I don't think it was designed to hold a MacBook Pro with a case so this was a welcome surprise. The interior suede is a nice touch of quality as is the edge finish. I'm very happy with this product, especially at the current price of $42. I was surprised to hear from the company, because they had already issued me a full refund some time ago. He insisted their goal was my satisfaction as a customer, and he worked diligently to determine why the sleeve didn't fit. Here's the reason: if you have a 13" Macbook Pro with built-in DVD player, it will be slightly too thick to fit in the sleeve.He sent me a replacement sleeve one size up that works perfectly, as well as two complimentary gifts from the Kasper Maison collection. I have never received such attentive, kind, and efficient customer service as I did from Thomas (K.M. is lucky to have him on board). He actually went to find my exact laptop model and tested it out in various sleeves before sending me a replacement gift. It came today and I'm not a bit surprised -- it is exactly as I thought it would be. Thanks for reading2Pro Retina and Air size is a good fit for MS Surface Pro With Pen Attached to SideThis is a wonderfully designed, engineered, and executed product. I was reluctant to buy it for my MS Surface Pro 6 thinking it would be too big or that the pen would not slide in or out easily when magnetically attached to the side. In short, it's a nice fit and accommodates the tablet and keyboard easily. The case is a little bigger than the Surface tablet, but only just, and the extra space means the pen has enough room that it will stay affixed and not bind coming in or out. The leather is beautiful, and the craftsmanship is excellent. I go to a lot of meetings and depositions with only my Surface, and this sleeve is much more professional looking than a ballistic nylon case. It's also small and slim enough to slip into my briefcase when I have to carry more. A couple of things that are not immediately clear just from photos. The designers gave some thought to function. The leather where the closing flap bends has been skived to about half thickness for the approximately 3/4 inch area where the fold is, which makes folding much easier. They have done something similar in the outer 1/2 inch of the stitched edges, with the result being a crisp line forming to account for the thickness of the device, which leaves the "face" of the sleeve flat. The sleeve is fully lined. There is a (small and also lined) document pouch at the rear. There is also a business card slot. I recommend this for the MS SP6.5Great quality & great support!
