You get what you pay for!These didn't have a good connection with the iPod and when you jiggled the cord there was a lot of static in the wiring. Do not buy if you want a good connection. 1Excellent cord for what I needed!This cord works as it is supposed to and did not have any shorts in it. Just so anyone interested wants to understand how this cord works it will take the output sound from a regular 3.5-millimeter jack which is common for small headphone jacks found on most smart cellphones and then separate the output sound from that jack to the input for left and right speakers to something like a surround sound stereo system. The previous description is how I used this cord for my new TCL 43" 4k smart TV, the TV only had a 3.5-millimeter jack for output options to surround sound and this cord was perfect for the job! 5Good for the moneyNow I do a little DJ stuff on the side,,, I run 2000 watts power heads , with pa speakers, and use my ipod , I found when you loose a channel ,,,, its this cable,,,, its a good thing I have more then one,,,,,this one last me about a year,,, in & out in & out,,,,, takes its toll on the little cable,,, I don't know why,, its like im using a hammer to plug it in, but for the money, cant beat it,,,,,, 4Exactly what we wanted!!!It works perfectly. My daughter wanted to play her phone over the surround sound. It doesn't have bluetooth and this cord allows her to play her phone through the system. It sounds great! I searched the stores and bought a few and none of them would work. Once it came in the mail and I hooked it up the music started playing for our player piano and it was the only cord that would work and it was the length we needed-6ft. Awesome great quality product that worked when all the other $12-$40 cords would not. 5Stereo adapter cable does what it supposed to doSlightly higher price than Monoprice, but it arrived quickly. 4I have echo dots plugged into my home audio amplifiers and they sound great.I took an older sound system with antiquated wall keypads in all the rooms., I plugged echo dots into the amps in the basement and put echo dots around the house to create a wonderful home system with multiple zones. 5Cheaply made. Came broken.Would give zero stars if I could. Super cheaply made and came all bent. Trying to straighten the bent plug and it popped off and broke. 1Not shielded.I ordered these to play my mp3's on my stereo - I get a bad hum because the cables are not shielded. Metal tabs bends really easy. Super cheap item - do not buy this. 1
