    GREAT PRODUCT, HIGHLY RECOMMEND.I bought this key and fob so I'd have a replacement for my 2009 Silverado. I had seen some other reviews where people complained about the quality of the key fob, but the one that I received in the mail seemed better than oem. Programming the fob was easy and straight forward and honestly took less than a minute, the key was easy as well after I looked up a YouTube video on how to program it, it also took less than a minute to program to my truck. I will definitely buy this again in the future if I ever need another key or fob. Also look up online on how to program the key before going to the dealer and spending $100-200.5Love the Remote, but the key is poor quality. New supply of remotes aren't fully functional. INCORRECT--READ MY LATEST EDIT.This is a love and hate review. Hate first: The key is a very cheap blank. The locksmith said that the grooves were too wide and the groove edges weren't sloped properly, so it would be difficult to cut a good key. That said, a big box store cut it for me (for free) and sure enough, the cuts go a little too deep. It works, but you have to play with it, pulling it out slightly before it will turn in the ignition lock.Now for the love. The 6 button remote works PERFECTLY. I've tried 6 other remotes from other sellers, and the remote engine start will not work on any of them. I have one original remote plus this new one, and both work with the Suburban, so the car is not the problem. We have a number of drivers for this vehicle, so I wanted some extra remotes, thus buying (and yeah, returning) the two extra remotes. I just ordered two more of this remote/key combo. I'll review it again if the new remotes are not fully functional.UPDATE: My two additional remotes (with key blanks) arrived today. USA Remote must have received a new shipment of remotes because these two new remotes have the same problem that all the rest of the sellers' remotes have: the remote start function doesn't work. Everything else works perfectly. So buyer beware: if you need the remote start feature, try another supplier.PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW UPDATE: The remote works great. Words of Advice: You can program up to 8 remotes, BUT the GM system will only let you use remote start 2 times and then you must do a key start to reset the remote start system. I was programming 4 remotes (and they must ALL be re-programmed at the same time or the earlier remotes will not work) and when checking the remotes only the first two would do the remote start feature. Do a key start and then the next two remotes will work perfectly.4 starts because of the poor quality key blank, but the keyless remote is 5 stars!4Programmed the key and the fob myself!I had no problem programming the key fob according to my owners manual. I had the key cut at the hardware store, but did not realize it had to be programmed also. I was told by several people the dealer would have to do it and it is not cheap. So I searched the web and found the instructions, it was just a matter of turning the key to the on position for 10 min 30 seconds, and repeating this step 3 times. It worked! Saved me a lot of time and money going to the dealer. I have a 2008 Buick Enclave so I am not sure this method works on all cars.5A lot of reviews I read about this and none of them helped metry to figure out how this works. So I went where everyone goes, to you tube! Easy enough as there are no instructions with the key and remote that is sent. I don't know why it's called a FOB, whatever with the stupid acronyms that no one knows except technicians which are probably not buying this. Any way, I went to a locksmith and paid $4 to get the key that was sent along with the remote cut. I had my original car key that I gave him to do this. He was able to cut it correctly and I was able to open my door with it but that is it! I couldn't turn the key to the ignition with it. This is vital for it to be able to be programmed. You need to turn it off and then on and then off again while holding down the open and close button on the remote. There are a few more steps like holding the open lock on the door while you hold the remote buttons first. You can go to you tube like I did for that step by step instruction. But I am writing this to tell you not to buy this. I tried to return it and never got a response, which I understand as I have had the key cut but just buyer beware.1Worked as intendedBought this for my 2007 GMC Acadia.I called a GM dealer to cut the key and program the remote and they were going to charge me $25 for each. Also, the dealer guy said to me that they weren't 100% sure programming the remote would work but that I still had to pay the $25, which I thought was not cool. I understand they have to pay the time of the technician, but $25 is not going to drive them to bankruptcy but maybe win a client. Anyhow, I wasn't happy about that but was willing to bite the bullet and pay to "try" and program the remote. So I was ready to pay $50.Cutting a key is nothing fancy or special, so I decided to go to Walmart and have the key cut there. It was going to cost me $1.25 to cut it but I got lucky and the lady told me she wasn't going to charge me if her machine was able to take the key and cut it. Which it did. So I saved $25 there.I programmed the remote and they key myself. It cost me $0.Lesson: DON'T go to the dealer.5FOB works but key does not (2009 Chevy Impala)This was for a 2009 Chevy Impala. The FOB worked great and programming was easy. They key has a lot of differences when compared to the original. I had the key cut at my local ACE hardware and they put it on the machine to cut it. When I went to the car and tried to program it, the key would not turn. After jiggling it around the key finally turned and the car started. I took the key back into the store and the clerk looked at it under a magnifier and compared it to the original. The cut was exact but the key itself looked different. It was thicker (minutely) and the measurements were off when measured with a micrometer. If I play with the key I will eventually get it to turn but this is not something I can count on. At least the FOB worked.2Can't program KeyKey fob was easy to program for my 2008 Impala.Key is useless. When I went to program the key, the instructions say my VIN number must start with a 1 or a 4. If it doesn't it will not work.Wish I new this ahead of time.2Cheap and easy and it works.Super easy to program and way cheaper than the dealer non-deal. Exact match.5Remote works great! But No one would cut key at local stores. Still happy with my purchase.I was disappointed as no one would duplicate the key for me. I went to several places including Walmart. Seller did contact me but I didn't want to pay locksmith rates to cut the key. I purchased a chipped key at Lowes Home Improvement store. Was told that i had to go to a dealer to program fob and key.
