    This is not a grab bar It is under 1" in diameter and not easily grip-able. It is called a "Grip Bar" but the dimensions are written up a 27 x 2.5" x 2.5 It is not 2.5 . This is false advertising. Unless I missed it, no where on the page does it state the actual size. 1Good for Granny Needing GrabsSince we haven't yet installed these grab bars I cant give a completely accurate review. However, they look lovely and will coordinate well with other hardware in the bathroom. I have no reason to believe that they will not do what they are supposed to do.5Beautiful! Does the Job Without that Institutional LookThis grab-bar looks beautiful and does the job. I think it also meets the ADA standards as well, but doesn't have that institutional look. I just spend $15,000, on remodeling a very tiny bathroom, and this grab-bar does not ruin the look of my new luxury bathroom.5Functional but discolors easilyI had these installed in my shower during remodel. They provide the stability I was looking for and at first was happy with them. However, after a few days, of exposure to water, blackish spots appeared on the chrome surface. I tried to polish them off, but while they get better, they don't completely disappear.
