Ehhhh.... Does what it should... to an extent. The screen protector part of the case is a very soft and IMPRESSIONABLE plastic (like you could scratch it with your fingernail). I'm so beyond careful with my phone, and the screen looks like someone went after it with sandpaper. I've racked my brain trying to POSSIBLY think of what could have caused such damage, and the only thing I can think of is getting in and out of the car with it in my jacket pocket (all alone in a fuzzy jacket pocket, no keys, no change. Nothing.) I never throw my phone.. there's literally no reason for it to look so horrible. BUT that's what cases are for.... if I didn't have this case, I can only imagine what my actual phone would look like... nevertheless, I've resorted to buying yet ANOTHER different case... it should arrive within the next week. Sigh. Bummer. 3Slightly less sensitive but well protected The cover fits tight and is not fun to remove but I literally and accidently ran over my phone and only the screen protector received a few scratches from the gravel on the ground. I have dropped the phone with no damage so I feel putting up with a slight loss of sensitive on the touch screen is a small price to pay for the great protection. Sometimes I have to touch things twice and I know this is due to the screen protector but with just a little more pressure everything works fine. If I was not so hard on my phone I'd go with a more sensitive protector but if you need real protection, this one works great. 4Great Full Body Case WITH built-in Screen Protector I have been a steadfast Supcase Unicorn Beetle fan, but they inexplicably don't offer a full body Samsung Galaxy S8+ case with built-in screen protection. I bought this one as it's the only one I could find and it's perfect! It fits perfectly, the screen protector is WAY better than those other ones on Amazon and it provides total body protection. Very happy! 5OWN BOTH CLAYCO AND I BLASON CASES. This is a great case for my phone. The feel and durability of the case is excellent. I'm a truck driver and clumsy too so I drop my phone quite often. My phone has fell getting out the truck and tumbled like a gymnast when hitting the ground many times. I don't know if the impact caused the screen protector on the phone to crack at the bottom left corner and fine hair lines at the top right corner. As far as the case there was no real damage to the body of the case. I believed it may have helped with the impacts so I had a screen protector on the phone inside the case for extra protection. As far look, feel, and durability I give it a 5.Now as far as the screen protector that's a different story. Once it started getting scratched from day 1 it was downhill from there. I can admit maybe if I was a lil more careful with the case, the screen wouldn't of gotten as bad as it did that quick, but in the end it would've been bound to happen. It started feeling like just by looking at the screen it started scratching. The phone is such a beautiful phone and it robs the quality of it with the scratches. The screen is responsive with the protector and it seems to break on the sides where the plastics are glued together and allows dust to get into the case and on the screen. Another reason for having that extra screen protector on the screen. Maybe that happened to me because I took off the case often at 1 point. The edge button is hard to use (same on i blazon) and swiping the top of the screen down for notifications is a bit of a drag. The screen started getting a bubble feeling like playing the game trouble and pushing the top to pop the dice when pressing the screen.Compared to i Blason, I'd prefer the I Blason. It is sleeker and thinner, the screen responds almost as if there is no protector on it, and I misspell words because it responds so much better when touching the screen. I don't like the clear back on the I Blason myself because of fingerprints so the Clayco has the better design as far that part to me. If Clayco sold the screen protector separately I believe people would lean towards buying it again. I'm big on protection on my phone. I like slim cases with heavy protection. Dropping the phones honestly I believe the Clayco would win the face or back first test no problem. Not a bad case at all. If it was slimmer to me and a better screen protector quality I'd prefer this over the i Blason 4Excellent Replacement for the Otterbox Defender Case I've had the case for a couple of days now and it is an excellent product so far. The fit and quality is better than I expected. It is a great value. The case allows for wireless charging on my TechMatte 3 Coil Qi charger. This is the only case I've found with a built in screen protector. I normally purchase the Otterbox Defender Case for my cell phones because of the built in screen protector, but Otterbox chose not to include a built in screen protector in the Defender series in hopes that you will buy their expensive glass screen protector. Seriously Otterbox, the built in screen protector was the whole point of the Defender series. 5Fits S8+ perfectly This fit my S8+ perfectly. Built in screen protector fits snug and I have no issues with sensitivity. Not bulky but still feels very protective. Bought the black, and about to buy the blue one too 5DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY Horrible. This lasted less than 2 weeks before the front was so scratched I had to remove it. The "Screen protector" is a thin piece of plastic that does nothing to protect the phone. I had it laying face down on my leather seat in my truck for a short trip to the store, and when I picked the phone up it was scratched all the way across. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. 1Phone still shattered! I bought the S8+ when it first came out and tried the regular glass screen protectors that I always used on my other phones and found that they did not stick well to the curved screen of the S8+ so after going through two of those screen protectors I was looking for a better option. I came across this case/screen protector combo from Clayco and it looked like exactly what I was looking for and had good reviews so I ordered it. When I first got the case I was really impressed it covered the phone well, had a built in screen protector, and even had rubber covers for the heap phone jack and charging ports. I've had this case on my phone for a while now and haven't had any problems until today. I dropped my phone from about chest height and it landed on the screen I thought it would have been OK, it wasn't a drastically high fall but when I picked up my phone I was shocked to see that the lower right hand corner of my screen was shattered it was like there was no protection on the screen at all. I am very upset by this, I was under the impression that my phone would be at least some what protected with this case/screen protector on but unfortunately it was not. So if you are looking for a case with a good solid screen protector this is NOT the one for you. It will protect your phone from scratches but that's about it. Lesson learned the hard way for me, hopefully helps someone else. 25 Stars!!! Otterbox Defender belt clip compatible. I absolutely love this case! It's what the Otterbox should have been. That built in screen protector is what made anyone care about an Otterbox. Now the Clayco Hera is the only case that has an actual built in screen protector. At least that I've found. It is a nice, sleek, and attractive case that fits really good. You may have to press slightly harder on the edges but WHO CARES? The point is that it truly protects the phone. My only complaint about the case is that it doesn't come with a belt clip. However if you are like me and purchased the Otterbox Defender thinking that it would be the best case for your Galaxy S8 Plus, THE BELT CLIP FROM THE OTTERBOX FITS THIS CASE PERFECTLY!!! It will not let you put the Clayco Hera in face out, but it clips perfectly face in. I have attached pictures to illustrate that. I liked it so much I bought the blue case too. It just wasn't in stock when I purchased the black originally. With this case and the Otterbox belt clip, it's literally the absolute best Galaxy S8 Plus phone case. If you have the Otterbox, for the S8 Plus, then you are in luck! Ditch the Otterbox and use this case with that belt clip. By the way the "sceenless edition" crap that Otterbox had the nerve to actually put on the packaging of their Defender series as if it was an intentional selling point is messed up. They simply couldn't do it, or they wanted to sell you a poor fitting $40 tempered glass protector separately. Buy this case, don't buy the Otterbox name. 5 Stars!!! 5buy this case! Good case, I was looking for a case with a screen protector. this is the only one i could find other than the Life proof. and i didn't want to pay $90 for a phone case. there is a small space between the screen and the protector. so i Put a small cloth in the back part of the case and it made the phone fit tighter in the case and the screen protector works perfect now. This is was better than any of the crappy glass protectors for the curved screen. and the plastic ones are stupid hard to put on and every case i used popped them off. This is the way to go. 5
