Great case, screen stays where you put it.As other reviewers have said, two corners are unprotected BUT I'm not prone to dropping my iPad so I took a chance with this case. I have been using it for over a month. The "velcro" kickstand allows for perfect positioning and I LOVE it! I can lay in my bed and position my screen and iPad and nothing moves. It is a bit heavier than previous cases I've had but the ability to adjust the screen to exactly where i want it makes this style case my favorite.4Well designed, made and flexible IPAD cover.I searched low and high for a great case for my new Ipad, this case is very good very close to what I was looking for. I wanted something that would first really protect my investment in my Ipad, be comfortable to use, flexible as I wanted to use my Ipad in both horizontal and vertical orientation, not something that many cases will allow. The case has a very good appearance and feel, leather-like, well detailed and crafted. I chose a black color which I feel makes the fake leather look more real. With the cover closed the front and rear flaps give the outside corners some protection, not as good as a hard case, but would probably survive a fall onto carpet or the like, (I am not going to test this out). The cut outs for controls are generous and do not block any buttons or the camera, the protection right at the corner of the gusset that holds the Ipad in the case is about 3/8" and then there are openings for on/off and volume, on the opposite end, the gusset is the same size but there are no adjacent buttons, (Ipad 2017) so they could have continued the gusset's length for more protection or better yet, slightly padded it. But as I said earlier, if the cover is closed there should be some protection for a fall onto the corner of the device, probably the worst place it could hit. The cover itself is slightly padded with a nice feel and grain pattern. The velco strips, set at top and bottom are unobtrusive, and the flap on the opposite side is nicely designed with a magnet at one outside corner to keep it closed. This is the footstand that servers to keep the Ipad in whatever position you put it in. I really like that the foot allows for any angle you set, the 2 feet of the flap that fit against long velcro strips are just the right size, not too hard to move, and they haven't slipped either, they just stay put and take a light touch to disengage and re-engage.When the case is opened the Ipad will turn on and turn off when closed, a nice feature. As stated earlier, in the landscape mode the Ipad fits within the case when opened and the foot is placed onto the velcro. When you rotate the Ipad to portrait mode, the bottom of the Ipad will sit on the surface where you have it, but the stand is very adjustable in this orientation as well.I installed a glass protector, fairly thick. I had absolutely no problem with the case and the protector, the vinyl is flexible and would fit almost any glass protection screen, albeit, not one that is extremely thick such as the plastic cases made for very rugged use.I gave this case 5 stars as it is well designed and made, flexible, and offers pretty good protection. The only thing I would have liked is better corner protection in a case. I couldn't find one that combined the features of a hard case with great protection with good looks and functionality, but this came close.5Infinite stand angles possible!This is really the best iPad holder I've had. No more slipping out of the groove when I'm trying to use it propped up. This holder can be adjusted to any slant desired because it uses hook-&-loop (Velcro kind of) fastening ability. So I can use it lying in bed, sitting in a chair, at a table, whatever! No slippage! The case I picked is beautiful but also sturdy and well made. The only fault I can find with it is the iPad is fully encased around the perimeter with the plastic that holds it in and it makes the on/off switch and volume levers a little more difficult to access, but mostly it just takes getting used to. One note to buyers, to be sure you are ordering the right case for your tablet, be sure to find the model number. Most of the holders available now specify what model numbers apply. iPad model numbers are very small and hard to see on the back of the unit at the bottom.5I really like this case.Being able to adjust the viewing angle, for both portrait and landscape view, is perfect for my needs. I personally like that the case is a little bulky. This makes it easier to hold and handle. I'm getting a little older and thin slick devices are getting harder to hang onto.Magnets hold the front cover closed, which also lock/unlock the iPad when opening/closing. I have not had any issues with the cover flipping open unexpectedly like some other covers. The back stand/prop also uses magnets to hold it close and it works fine. I also found if I cannot get the angle I want with the case laying normally then I can flip it over to get it a little more vertical. The iPad can spin 360 deg.5Love this caseWhat I love most about this case is that I can position my iPad at whatever angle I want. So much better than having defined slots that offer only 2 reclining positions. I tried other iPad cases that supposedly allowed unlimited positions, but they wouldn't hold fast. The pressure of the iPad at an incline would cause the case to slip and slide. No good!This one is easy to use and, because it has Velcro (or whatever brand of gripping strips it uses) everything stays where I put it.What I don't care for is with weight. Because of the way it is constructed, it is thick. That means better quality, but it also means it weighs more. Plus, the case has the ability to turn from landscape to portrait position. Personally, I rarely (if ever) use my iPad in portrait. I'd be happy with this case if you removed the rotating portion and that would also reduce the weight.The case itself weighs about 13 ounces. With my iPad in it, it weighs 1.12 pounds. That's OK on a given day when I'm at home or the office, but when I travel, that adds a lot of weight to my bag.A suggestion: I was really looking for some patterned cases. Solid colors are rather boring. Maybe the company could consider coming out with patterns and images on its cases? Houndstooth, flowers, stripes, landscape photos, animals... something besides just ordinary solid colors would be nice.4Well-Deserved 5 Star Rating!I love this case. It's very sturdy and the multi-angle feature works great. It really holds well, no slipping at all. The 360 feature is an added plus. I've had other covers where the landscape mode was good but the 360 didn't work out so well. It also holds the iPad in the case nice and snug. All the buttons are fully exposed so you have no trouble with the volume, on/off, etc. And I almost forgot -- it comes in a bunch of fun color choices. I got the galaxy one.5It's a nice case, although I wish it were indeed actual leather. I'd have paid up.The material is ok, does not feel like real leather but then the one I bought has a design so I didn t expect it to feel like actual leather. The material reminds me of a heavy vinyl and has a slight pebble texture. My Apple Air 2 (2017 edition) fits well, slid easily into the case, is secure and all the holes line up. There was no odd smell, no lose threads, unfinished areas or rough spots. I can take pictures without interference from the case and the quality of the images are not affected in any way. The charging port is clearly accessible. The speakers on iPads are at the bottom of the tablet and that edge of the case has material area covering the speakers with little holes to allow the sound out and I think the sound is slightly compromised. I think this is a design flaw.I got the "Shades of Blue" colored print and it is very pretty. The design does allow one to adjust the viewing angle to anywhere you want it to be using hook and loop catch (Velcro). Holding the case as you would a hardback book the front is where the soft black strips are. The black strips at the side edges of the front of the cover are the soft side of a hook and loop fastener strip. The hook sides are small edges on the feet of the stand at the back of the case and there is a little flap covering the outside of the feet so you can't touch them and they won't catch on anything. The soft strips will not catch on anything like clothing, material in a handbag other carrier and won't scratch your hand when holding it. There is a sleep function and magnetic closure but I'm not sure how efficiently this works because it seems my iPad needs to be charged frequently in this holder but to be clear it could just be my usage. And to be fair, I don t see any obvious light escaping from the edges of the case when I close the cover. I do try to make sure I manually put the tablet to sleep myself and turn it completely off when I don't intend to use it for a while. I have found that the cover does not fall open on its own when I hold it by the sides in an "upside down" fashion.The real advantage to this case is the angle of viewing feature and it s the most intriguing aspect of the case. Once you set the case up for viewing at the angle you chose you can pick up the whole thing and the case does not undo itself.I feel the quality and price are fair and the item functions well for me. I did quite a bit of searching review reading to get to this product. Overall, I m satisfied with the product and would recommend it to others with my edition iPad with the caveat regarding the sound. This case earns a 4-star review because I like the case; real leather would have earned 5-stars.Having said that, I would still pay a lot more for real leather and a better way to secure the iPad in place with clear openings to the speakers. If you find one let me know.4Pretty solid case, but not an A+Long story short I like the case okay, but I will be looking for different one.I bought this to try out after getting frustrated at how quickly another style of iPad case fell apart. The part of the case that houses the iPad is made of of leather and secured into place with velcro. I don t love the aesthetic of the leather because my iPad sits off center, and nothing I do will fix it. That aside, it feels secure and it doesn't seem like my iPad is in danger of falling out. The velcro feet that hold the iPad an at angle work well, but there were thin strips of fabric glued in place to cover them. The fabric peeled up before the case even got to me, and has left a sticky residue on other parts of the case (however the residue does wipe off pretty easily). Finally, one of the most important aspects for me is being able to swivel. The case does allow for rotation, but it is so stiff I do not use it.4Works pretty well, colors/ design are as picturedI like that you can have any viewing angle you like. The only thing is that when the iPad is in portrait mode (vertical), the bottom of it sticks out beyond the bottom edge of the case. Not a big deal. The rotation works very well. The only minor issue I have is that, when closed, the lid doesn't stay closed very firmly and can easily open as you're carrying. It. It's too bad that it doesn't have a built-in elastic strap to go around it when it's closed; I had a previous Fintie iPad case (that eventually wore out) that had the elastic strap(but it didn't have the multiple viewing angles that you have with the Velcro.5Very pleasedI have only had this for a short time but I am very pleased with it so far. I have the iPad Air. The cover fits perfectly and has good access to all controls and camera. I really like the way the stand works with the velcro strips. No more falling over. The magnet closure keeps the cover closed. A minor negative point is that I have to make sure the iPad is not rotated in the case in such a way that the camera opening is covered. It is a little different than how my old case rotated. But I like this one much better overall. Just a note, the velcro strips to hold the stand are on the outside of the case when closed. This is not an issue for me at all but I thought I would mention it.5
