Five Stars Make sure and check elsewhere for a better price. 5Great eye piece!!! Want more sizes now! This EP (eye piece) is well work the money! Wide FOV and excellent clarity. Was able to see Saturn perfectly, even at dawn with a crescent moon next to it! Jupiter and Mars were also spectacular and Mars had been difficult to get sharp with my other lenses. I will definitely invest in this brand. I currently have a Luminous (10mm) and a variety of Celestron Plossls (25mm, 40mm, 13mm) and this EP is definitely winning out over all of those!5Wonderful Eyepiece for Exploring SpaceI really love this EP. It's the second 'serious' one I've bought away from my kit. It's huge to look through and flat enough for me. Very sharp and has gotten me out more often because of it's views. If you're looking for a good eyepiece in this range then get this one. I have a XCel LX 12mm that I like and with this wide fov it feels like I'm looking at the same image almost.5Amazing optics I love this eyepiece, I use it for binoculars or better to say telescope binoculars Oberwerk 100 SD, amazing lenses the only problem I encounter was it curbs when you look a straight structures but I asume it is due to I used 2 eyepieces in my binoculars, amazing optics for the money, never get dump or dim when it is humid, field of view needs to get better for a82 degree but it is ok. I want to get the 100 degrees but it only comes in 2 inch barrels5Beginner telescope user, but I am impressed with this lensI have a 8" Dobsonian telescope that I purchased about six months ago. I was using the two lenses that came with it plus a celestron that I paid $26 for.Looking at the Moon I could see more detail and the eye relief was better. But I was not overwhelmed. Then I looked at Orion's Nebula on a good night, my socks were blown off. I could see detail that my other lens didn't see.For me this was worth the money spent.5Great optics for have the price!!I was on the lookout for a really nice eyepiece set...and the prices were depressing until I came across the Explore Scientific eyepieces. I've started with getting the 68 degree field argon purged set and then I will move to the 100 degree field higher powered set that will complete my set. When I got my first eyepiece I was and am so blown away by the quality of them. So nice and I can see this set (when completed) being with me for a very long time...even through a few telescopes. I will take them to star parties to use with other scopes. You won't be disappointed when you purchase one or more of these babies.Oh...if they get dirty, just wash them (following directions) and they will be brand new again.5Great eyepieceGreat eyepiece for the money. You can get better, but it will definitely cost quite a bit more.5Best wide fov in 1.25" without breaking the bank.Excellent Eyepiece. Way better than my old Hyperion. Tested it a lot of times with different f/ scopes and it always worked great. Worth the investment.5but it is pretty darn good for the moneyDecent performance at the edge at F/7.5 and F/10. This isn't a premium eyepiece, but it is pretty darn good for the money. I hate to repeat this, but it is true, you are looking at 90 to 95% of the performance of premium eyepieces for about 1/3 the cost. For those who cannot afford a Nagler or a Pentax at the moment (ahem), but need something in the mid-power range with a decent, well-corrected field of view, this is in the family of your next options. Again, you aren't getting the absolute performance of top-notch eyepieces, but for those of us with slower telescopes (above about F/7), these might give you all the performance you'll need. From my experience the resale value on these is fairly decent ( bought the 16mm 68 degree new and the 24mm 68 degree used), so if you decide you don't like them, you should be able to get a good chunk of your investment back.4Panoptic-like performance; excellent value! Check for specks when barlowed. Adorama delivers!Outstanding optics, sharp across entire field of view and compact form factor. Pair purchased for maxbright binoviewer works well. Compliments my 19mm televue panoptic pair and practically on par but for color tone. Highly pleased! (Note: one eyepiece has sunspot-like specks within, most noticable when barlowed and will be returned. Update: received second ES68 24mm eyepiece and it performs properly and without specks. Well done Adorama, thanks!5Performs fantasticallyArrived very fast and has put up some great views in a 8" f/5.9 Dob and 80mm f/6 APO. Very bright large fields! Fit and finish is as good as any of my Televue eyepieces.5
