Customer Reviews

Noisy as the original...Do NOT recommend as a 'quiet' fan...it isn't. Just as noisy as the original fam. and smaller too than the original fan. Behringer KM7503NoisyMoves a lot of air but quite noisy. Okay in my application.3ExcellentGot this for a friend whose owned a behringer amp.. he was very tentative at first, but after research i convinced him to buy it... it worked liked a charm...5Inverter CoolerGreat fan, connected directly to a 24V battery circuit to cool an inverter. Figure a few watts was justifiable for a 20F drop on the business end of a very expensive piece of hardware. Just used zip ties through the screw holes to wrap around beefy battery cables and voil beautiful air circulation for the brains-end of an expensive inverter system was provided. I swear it's 15 - 20F cooler with that little fan running. The plug connection epoxied on to the bottom of the fan frame was pilfered from a previous, and failed 24V fan purchase. A supposed "truck fan"; that ended up vibrating itself to death. The Evercool is so much better, quieter, and visually intriguing! See pic.UPDATE: After nearly 2.5 years of constant operation it finally gave up the ghost. Buying another one now.Update #2: Went back to the same vendor to get my replacement fan and they accidentally sent a 12V fan. I notified them of their error and they sent me a return slip - where I pay for postage!!! Send me the wrong item and I return it on my own dime - NO WAY. I had to go through Amazon to get the refund, and reduced the rating from 5 stars to 1.124V Evercool DC fanFinding 24V case fans at your local computer store can turn out to be a real challenge. this one did the trick. We used it in a case fan replacement in a DSX security system environment... works great. Arrived right on time as promised.5NOISY!NOISY as original fan was. Useless.1Five Starsperfect replacement for the fan inside TrippLite rack mount UPS.5Works great, quiet, 24V DCMake sure you need a 24V DC fan and not a 12V fan! Most PCs use 12V fans rather than the 24V. In my case I replaced the fan in an old Hartke amp head. Works great. You do not need the yellow wire FYI, just red and black for hot and ground to operate the fan.524 Volt DCThis is not for regular PCs. Don't buy it expecting it to work in your computer. In my case it was for a UPS. UPS frequently have 24VDC battery supplies (two 12VDC batteries). This is what my UPS has. The original fan died after five years. I'd oiled it once. Upon a second failure, I figured a new fan was in order. This fit the bill perfectly. It arrived quickly, undamaged, and at a relatively low price. It is blowing merrily away now, keeping the UPS from getting too hot, causing batteries to fail.So far, so good. Just don't buy one for your PC.4Runs nicely, is quiet.Bought this to keep a CNC controller cool, which runs on a 24V power supply (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006QSOF60/). Wired the fan up to the same supply and it seems to run great. Gives a nice bit of push while staying really quiet. Like the description says, the yellow lead is optional. Red is hot.5
