I bought this remote case for my son's car. I put his circuit board back in and snapped it back together. It has been working flawlessly for 2-3 weeks now. Way cheaper than buying a whole new remote. A++5Five Starsexcellent5Problems with the Dorman 13636 CaseFirst, the good part:This case (Dorman 13636) fit my OEM internal electronics and worked fine.Now the bad:As others have said, the buttons stick up too far and numerous times have unlocked the rear window on my 2011 Suburban. I spoke to Dorman about the issue but they had no remedy for it. What I find interesting is that I purchased a Dorman 99154, which included the transmitter, and that case is fine. The buttons are slightly recessed and do not cause any problems. I can see where the two cases are slightly different. I did ask Dorman if they sold the cases which came with the 99154 without the transmitter but I was told they do not.A second thing which just happened 3 days ago is a piece of the rear part of the case simply broke away. The case, being only 5 months old, looks like new except for the piece that broke away. No one attempted to open it and it still works fine. I had my OEM cases for over 8 years and except for being scratched up and the part where you press the buttons being well worn no part of the plastic was cracked or broken.The case should hold up for a lot more than 5 months.1Five StarsArrived on time and was as described 5Accidental ActivationIt fits perfectly, BUT(!)... the buttons are not flush to the case - they are raised about 3mm. Very light pressure on the rubber buttons activates the fob. I have accidentally opened my trunk 3 times.3it works but the trunk button is easily pressed, I am worried I will be in ...Cheap replacement for original and no programming but the trunk button is raised and presses easy, after a couple years with this i am now looking at other fobs.3Great price.Great price....but......open trunk button is EXTREMELY sensitive and the automatic door open and lock buttons are NOT SENSITIVE enough. Needless to say, the inconvienience is somewhat worth the savings!!!3Awesome replacement remote case*NOTE* this unit has 3 various backs to hopefully cover any version you may own.Works perfect and even better than the original the wife used to use. Would highly recommend this as a replacement to a broken remote case.5Saved me $200+I was able to save myself over $200 by switching out the old case with its no-longer-functional buttons for this one. It wasn't an exact switch, but close enough5Well DesignedI've ended up buying two of these. There is a small difference from OEM external design, but they work very well. Body has a very tight fit which makes them harder to open, however they do not feel nearly as fragile as original.5
