Head's up folks! The LED strip brightness is proportional to the fan speed. Should not have been surprised, hence the full 5 star rating, but - DUH - when using the 3pin to connect to the speed controlled fan connectors on the motherboard the LED's brightness is directly relative to the fan speed.I get full brightness at 80% power and above (blue hued picture) and then brightness then drops step by step until they're completely off at 40% power (normal color picture) and below. The fan is still turning until 10%. Both pictures taken with camera exposure set the same.Still, good fans for the price. I guess if you want to control brightness and speed separately... you'll need a 4pin fan? 5Super bright lights The fans are bright ! the rubber feet on them is a great idea to keep noise down . The only thing is these fans don,t move much air . compared to my Cooler master 120mm fans they are weak . this is not a issue as the cooler master fans are doing most the the work in my case . And these fans are for eye candy 4I like them so far... 08/10/2019: So far so good but I've only really had them installed for the day. I used the three pin instead of the bulky 4 molex (I think that's what its called) pin. Easy to install and the light is bright and really cool looking in my case. Honestly I only wish I got 140mm instead of the 120mm but it's all good :) 5Fan Noise? What noise. I guess case fans only last a couple of years so the time had come to replace the two case fans on the front of my CoolerMaster. They had given up the ghost. Conisy fans seemed to be likely candidates for replacement fans and the installation went reasonably well. What to do with the old fan wires which were well ensconced in their wire harnesses? Just cut them off. The new fans are brilliant red in color, sort of matching the still functioning rear fan; that one is connected to the mother board and, when it too fails, will require a little more head scratching to wire it in. Anyway, the new fans are silent. Yes, I checked and they are rotating. I know I have a little hearing loss, but I cannot hear the new fans at all. And the computer is sitting right under my desk, on the floor. The hard drive is noisier than the fans. These fans are real sweet; I highly recommend them. Maybe I should get blue for the rear fan? 5What a breeze. I had to replace two cooling fans in my gaming desktop system (front). The fans installed easily and look great and are very quiet. I used different mounting screws instead of the countersunk head screws that came with the fans. The only issue that I had was there is no flow direction marked either on the fans or in the instructions. Instead of blowing air into the case, I think they are blowing the opposite direction. Whatever... they still look great. 5great fans Great looking fans. They are a little loud but I just needed something really red in my case to overpower some white LEDs and these did the trick perfectly 5Good stuff Wasnt expecting much from the price. But very pleased with these. LEDs are a true orange and these fans are bery quiet. Also good cfm wanna say around 35. 5Great Fans I'm sold on this new brand. These are nice and quiet, move enough air, and look good to boot. My little brother, unimpressed with everything, lit up when he saw the computer I put these in. He actually said COOL! with the exclamation point when getting a rise out of him is typically like pulling teeth. 5Super cool effect, looks just like the pictures Super cool effect, looks just like the pictures. They lose their effect when looking into the exhaust side, but even then, they're still nice to look at. I bought these because I could not find any orange fans I liked elsewhere. They turned out to be a great purchase. The rubber along the mounts are a nice surprise, especially since I wasn't able to the use rubber screws I bought, with these fans. They are quiet, and move are decently. I can't say anything about their lifespan yet, but so far so good. I bought two orange fans and two blue fans. The only issue I have is that the blue fans are a bit brighter than I would like. 5Functional and Bright The fans are working great so far and the LED's are bright and vivid. The shock absorbers seem more... engineered than most I've seen, but I can't say I notice any significant difference in the amount of vibration from any of the other fans I've purchased over the years. I bought this for my son's build and he enjoys the lights. If they were on mine, I'd actually call them a tad too bright. If you want a nice bright green LED and a decent fan to boot, go for these. 5
