Since it worked great and was so easy to programI bought one of these to make sure it worked. Since it worked great and was so easy to program, I bought another. Little did I know the programming only lasts a few days then you have to reprogram it again. I reprogram both remotes every few days. They are going back asap. 1Useless.Product is absolute junk, even at $13.00. Nothing like the quality of my 8 year old busted OEM FOB. The buttons MUST be depressed ALL the way for the lock / unlock functions to work. They re soft, mushy and require 100% push for them to work. The range is about 10 feet, compared to the across the parking lot distance of the OEM. It only held the programming for a couple of hours before having to be re-programmed. Glad I kept my old ones. OEM (factory PN GM 20868672) can be found for about $40. Go with that. Used on a 2010 GMC Sierra 1500. 1Easy to program / 75% cheaper than 2 nearby storesEasy to program with the Buick Lucerne settings feature on the instrument panel. You have to program this new one and reprogram any existing fobs at the same time or they will not work again. These were $82 at Autozone and $79 at a local chain hardware store. I like to support local businesses but I can no longer justify it in most cases. 5SUPER cheap and SUPER worth itI broke the FOB for our 2008 impala years ago. I was told by the dealer that it was going to cost AT LEAST a $100 to get a new one. Not worth it. Would just use a key to lock and unlock the door. No big deal. Until you have a kid in one hand and governed in the other. Finally thought we should order a new one. Like many things, I went to amazon first. Saw the price and thought it was a joke. $10?!? Clearly, there was a mistake. No way was it that cheap and actually works. I was skeptical, but itwas only $10 and I could always return it.It came on time and it looked identical to the one that had broken all those years ago. The remote came with simple packing and a card that had instructions on where to go to program it. I went online to find instructions for my specific car, and in less than two minutes had a working FOB again. Instructions were simple. I ve had the remote for 4 days and it works phenomenally. So so so happy!NOTE: the one I ordered was not for a keyless start vehicle. It is a simple lock and unlocking device. I don t have any experience with the more technologically advanced FOB s. But for $10 this was an absolute STEAL! 5Poorly made cheap productI have only had this a few weeks and the paint is already rubbing off the buttons. The whole reason I replaced is the images on the buttons were coming off my original FOBs. However they are several years old so it s inderstandable. This one is a few weeks and losing all the images in the buttons. Super cheap product. 1Great for a 2008 Impala!Dealer wanted $200.00 to make a extra set of keys for 2008 SS Impala. I hardly had $25.00 is a complete set using this keyfob and a key blank from Amazon. Use YouTube to program not key and remote. Took ten minutes total. Saved tons of money! Great deal! 5Not for manual (non power) locksI purchased this key fob for a 2009 Chevy Silverado. We bought the truck used. The previous owner stated that he had lost the key fob in the lake. So I wrongly assumed that he had an original manufacturer key fob that came with the truck when it was new. Our local Chevy dealership confirmed that because I have manual (non-power) locks, there was never an original keyless entry remote, but the previous owner had an aftermarket key fob. The DIC on the dash of my 2009 Chevrolet Silverado doesn t have an option for the keyless remote at all. Everything is manual (windows, locks, seats, etc.). So I took off a star on my review because nowhere in the instructions does it state that it is not for manual locks, it says it will work for my make and model. Seems like it would have worked perfectly if my vehicle had power locks. I would order this product again for our other newer vehicles. I think the price is really good. And that the quality is high. 4Works like the original I got with my new truck!Got this for my 2007 Suburban. Programmed it easily and it works as well as the original!! I got a replacement one a couple of years ago from another site & I had to stand against my truck for it to work and it died a year later even with little use. My original still works after 11 years but I need an extra! I m ordering another one right now! 5Its working well for meMy original remote is just worn out. I've had this one as my primary remote since August and wow, I have to say that this was really a good deal. I've even dropped it several times and it continues to work excellently. Go Amazon Go!!!
