    No instructions but those can be found on the internetThey should really get 4 1/2 stars because of lousy instructions. Fortunately though those instructions are pretty easy to find on the Internet. They enclosed a card that showed a web site to find the instructions but that website's car models didn't go back before 2004 for my old 2001 MDX...so I searched on my car model year and the words "programming key fob" and instructions came right up. Be sure and close all the car doors before starting and, even if your instructions don't say to hold the button down or a full second each time...it should. Happy clicking.5Affordable, simple to program.Lost my original stock alarm. Found this on amazon for a very great deal compare to a few different other sites. Almost by half the price. Before making the purchase I had to youtube a video on how to program the new remote and it seem easy enough where I believe I'm capable of doing this myself vs taking it to a car alarm technician. The product arrive and looks just like advertise. It also comes with a paper with a link where you can look up instructions for your make and model of vehicle. Product feels and look just like my old stock remote. Upon programming the new remote it's been working fine and haven't had any issue.5Works great read my review it might help.Works great. No problem whats so ever. Didn t understand the instructions. But the only thing you have to do is turn your ignition on( just turn your key until your dash light pop up not the engine start), then hit lock on the key fob, turn off ignntion. Do it three times then yours doors will make unlocking or locking sound. Becareful tho beCause i did it right at first but i didnt know so I kept doing then my car went into anit theft mode. But seller says he haven't received so now I have to contact USPS to ask about it For now I have no keyless knob and not happy with this purchase.I don't recommend this knob.UPDATE!!!!I do receive the replacement and this one works good So now everything works well Very good customer service 5It works !!!After going 5 years without a remote, OMG I am sooo happy that this worked for my 2004 acura rl. We always debated calling the dealership so they can order us a legit remote for the car but that wouldve cost hundreds. The car that my husband bought from his sister did not have the remote because she lost it and i was so mad that he bought that car anyways because we had to take out a loan to buy it. There are still alot of problems with the car such as an outdated gps and the cd/tape doesnt work....but at least we got remote now. Geez! Had I known about this product earlier....since it works, i have to buy another one so my husband can have a spare. This is a life saver! Now i dont have to open the dang door to open the dang trunk! Thank you !5OEM quality remoteI bought this replace the keyless remote (also aftermarket) for my 2002 Acura CL. The quality is good, it s thicker than my other remote, but button function honestly feels better. Good range and programmed on the first shot. My other remote only lasted about a year so we will see how this one works. My only complaint is the ugly brown color, but overall very good remote. My remote came with the battery installed and an extra key ring.5Works great for my 2003 acura tlsReceived a day earlier than expected. Comes with a card that refers you to the web site for programming instructions. Very easy to program. After successfully programming the locks, you will have to hold the trunk button 5 to 10 seconds before the trunk opens. After that it will open normally. Good purchase. It works as advertised and is well priced.The directions were simple; however, purchasers need to be aware of one easily overlooked distinction.When operating the car, there are four key positions: 1) the "OFF" position, 2) the first position or "I," 3) second position or "II," and 4) the ON position.BE AWARE the directions refer to positions "I" and "II" and NOT "II" and "OFF." In general, we go from OFF directly to ON without thinking about the other two positions, so it's easy to confuse this (IMO.)It took me leaning over to read the imprint on the key-hole to realize this, but once I did, the remote programmed on the first attempt!5Works well. Room for improvement in instructions.Pros:At $24.95 much less expensive than the $161 that the dealer wants.Easy to programHas good rangeUpdate 12/27/2019 Another Pro is that this fob can be linked to either of the seat/mirror memory settings (1 or2). This is unlike the original Acura fob that comes preset to 1 or 2 and cannot be changed (at least I've not found a way to change the original settings).Cons:Not as easy to change the battery as with the original fob.Unlike the original fob, the buttons on this are flush with the case making them difficult to find by feel. This aspect of the key fob made me order an original Acura OEM fob from eBay to get the same feel as the original fob.The programming instructions do not explain how to link the remote to the seat/mirror memory. Fortunately, I didn't realize that this fob came with a battery and when I opened the case to insert a battery I noticed that the PCB had instructions for selecting the memory setting silk screened on it. Although those instructions were rather vague I was able to complete that process and link the fob to the desired seat/mirror memory setting. Had I known that this fob came with a battery I never would have opened it up and still wouldn't know how to select the memory setting because while the basic programming instructions can be found easily on the internet, I've yet to find the memory selection instructions anywhere but on the PCB in this fob.4
