    This is a great exhaust fanThis is a great exhaust fan. We also got the switch that makes it adjustable. Even on high, we can barely hear it. We mounted in the kitchen ceiling since I did not want a hood over my island where the cook top is. I also did not want to spend a ton of money on a downdraft that takes away from the space under the counter-top. Our kitchen designer suggested an exhaust fan, and it's perfect. When they paint the ceiling, it will be painted also, and no one will even see it.5Great product Fan was well packaged and appears well built. No installed yet, but the fan is a great design because it can be reconfigured to vent horizontally or vertically as well as parallel to joists or perpendicular with a few minor changes. Instructions are well done to show a variety of configurations in new construction or fitting to existing structure. I hope it runs as well and as quiet as other reviewers have stated. 5Perfect!Purchased 3 months ago. It's very quiet and very efficient if installed with 8" duct, 8" Tamarack TTi-CBD8 Cape Backdraft Damper, and 8" roof jack, vertically out the roof like I did. So much so that the digital timer switch I installed isn't even needed in my open master bath with cathedral ceiling. Even after 3 consecutive hot showers, my mirrors never fog. The only wish is that the screws holding the grill were designed as a tool-less quick release type for easy removal for cleaning (will have to mod that myself).5Goodbye mold!This machine is a beast. We have always had issues with mold in the bathroom because we could never get enough suction with other fans. This one is by far the best and keeps the bathroom free of mold. The mirror will never fog up with this bad boy!5Quiet and moves air...This baby moves air,,,and is more quiet than any i have purchased at Loews,,,I did some carpentry to fabricate a frame to sit on,,,in the attic...5Lots of air,really quietI never write reviews, but this ventilation fan is really great. Does not sound like it is doing much but if I go outside where the exhaust exits my house the volume of air is amazing. I installed it over my indoor hot tub. I recommend the speed control that Broan offers to go with this. When you only need 1/2 the air flow it is nearly silent. Great job Broan.5Broan 300 CFM exhaust fanThis fan is completely flexible in installation methods. The flow rate is great, too. I used aluminum 8" elbow and a flexible, insulated duct line. This really cut down on the noise.5Five Stars WORKED GOOD 5Moves some air out!!!This is the deal! Want to move some air fast? This is it. Great for a bathroom, kitty liter room and it seconds as a way to pull hot air out at night and let fresh air in through the window.
