Customer Reviews

2 pack choiceI decided to buy the 2 pack instead of the larger battery because they take so long to charge with the charger supplied with the pole saw. This way I can keep working with one always in the charger. They seem equal to the one supplied with the saw.5good I ordered these for my drills and jig saw. I have used them many times and I feel they are working just as well as the original battery that came with the product. I have switched out the batteries many times while charging the dead ones while I work and I have no complaints yet. I did NOT receive any discounts for my purchase, I'm writing a review to help others with their purchase. Cheers 5Outrageous price! They are proud of these batteries! N my opinion, an outrageous price! In fact, the price for these two batteries was just $25 less than a new Black & Decker weed eater I saw a couple days after the batteries arrived.5UPDATE - I Would NOT buy it againGood price because I need 2 spares to allow "sweeping" of large area. Charge did not last as long as original but I'm still happy. I like that it shuts off blower before completely discharging.UPDATE 10/23/2018. Originally I said **** BUT downgraded to **. I've had these for 19 months and I am more disappointed than before BECAUSE THEY ARE WEARING OUT TOO FAST FOR ME. I use them in the B&D sweeper, i.e. blower, and they are lasting about 15-20 minutes on a full charge. While its nice to have two batteries, the recharging one is not yet available when it's operating sister runs out of energy. I used to "sweep" both front and back yards with one fully charged battery. Now I just barely make it thru one yard, or even the pool deck and patio, in Fall..Alas I just discovered that Ah, Amp-Hour gives an indication of how long a battery will last. This advertisement does not indicate Ah like most all the others do, so I looked it up: several sites say it is 1.3Ah....pretty low compared to others, ...kinda explains its low price. It annoys me that it is advertised as "longer runtime" because that's not true, even if one add the runtime of 2 together. Theoretically the 1.3 Ah battery will last half as long as a 2.6 battery, and that's what I will now buy for about the same price. As a long time Black & Decker customer, for affordable tools, the quality has gone own hill over my 74 years. I know Sears Tools and the B&D is no Sears! :) However to say something nice, it is lighter than the larger ones, and there is the psychological boost of having a spare [he groans :) ].PS Maybe my wrist will get stronger sweeping with a heavier battery with a, say, 5.0 Ah rating. :))2It's two batteries for a decent price.Bought for the super gimicky yet super awesome Alligator chainsaw lopper. Wanted two batteries so that you can go all day and always have a fresh battery on the charger.4They have been such a disappointment. I'm talking no more than a 30 minute ...I bought these to supplement the larger, bulkier battery that came with my blows and weed eater. They have been such a disappointment. I'm talking no more than a 30 minute run time on a full charge. This is the appropriate battery for my black & decker yard tools and I bought the charger that black & decker recommended.1Both work good and having the extra batteries on hand is a ...We've got the Black & Decker hedge trimmer and also the leaf blower. Both work good and having the extra batteries on hand is a must.Good buy. They work fine and cost a lot less than the other brands. Very satisfied. Batteries last about 40 minutes on the hedge trimmer (with steady trimming). The leaf blower could be a bit more powerful, but it works fine and it's much quieter (and less expensive) than other brands.5Horrible lifetime on batteries.I purchased an impact driver plus these two extra batteries. The impact driver is fantastic, but the batteries have been charged a max of three times each and all three are bad already after less than 18 months. This is worse than the quality of some of the bargain tools at Harbor Freight.1Two For the Price of OneTechnology gets better and better. Black and Decker are proving that with the 20V Lithium series. Please note that most of the Black and Decker 20V tools do NOT come with a battery or the charger. If you want that then there are a number of bundle packages out there. Everything I read says that the lithium battery is the way to go. I have used cordless tools since the 80s and these lithium series are so quick and powerful. So far I have the Jigsaw, and the BDCR20B 20V MAX Lithium Reciprocating Saw. I purchased the Black and Decker L2ACF-OPE 20V MAX Lithium Ion Fast Charger to go with this 2-pack. It fully charges in less than 20 minutes. There is a larger LB2X4020-OPE 4.0 Ah Lithium Battery Pack out there but it is $60 for one battery. You can have this two pack for less. So if you have a larger job, even with a 20 minute charge time, you can literally work forever with just two batteries. I hope this helps.5Maybe Black and Decker Sucks?Bought two new batteries for my Black and Decker Drill which I've only had for five months. Both of these batteries went dead and could not be recharged. I bought a new charger, just in case it was a charger issue, but still the batteries are not recoverable. I am very disappointed. Either the batteries are defective or the Black and Decker Drill is killing all batteries. I'll deal with them later. Not a happy camper here.1Great batteriesThese are a VAST improvement over the 18v ones both in charge time, strength, and weight. These batteries weigh next to nothing. I carry one or two around in my pockets while I'm doing yard work and can swap them out in about 10 seconds. No more stopping to go grab a battery that feels like a brick and takes half the day to charge. If you have 20v B&D batteries, I'd also recommend you get the L2ACF-OPE quick charger. Run them down to dead and they'll charge right back up in about 20-30 minutes.5
