    Not a secure fit-falls out constantlyThis particular item DOES NOT FIT PROPERLY. It constantly falls out as it is not a secure fit. I have a Chromebook 15. It drives me crazy. For the price I was really impressed and the only complaint I have is the length. If it was a bit longer i would be very pleased. Ive been using this for about 2 weeks and everything else is working perfectly. It fits the charging port and doesn t disconnect easily as well.5Replacement cord for my ChromeI picked the listing because of the price. To run into Walmart and buy a replacement was $40.00. To buy the brand was just as pricey. I decided to take the risk and buy cheap. It charges it, but it doesn't fully plug into Chrome. Unfortunately this does not have the 3-prong power adapter cord/plug and unfortunately I found out after receiving it, did not look closely at photo. I really didn't think it would make a differenence so I plugged it in, and noticed immediately it is affecting my touchpad performance, making it move very sluggish, and unpredictably, not sure why, possibly because of stray current. When I unplug it the touchpad works fine. When I plug the original power adapter in, which has the 3 prongs, the touchpad works just fine too. I'm very hesitant to use it now without the third grounding prong present on the plug. If it's affecting the touchpad, wondering what else it's affecting. I don't know if I can return this without a cost for me to do so. I can't use it like it is. Even tried plugging into other outlets and surge protectors. Same thing happens. Wondering if it is defective, or just not appropriate to use a 2-prong cord with this device...1Charges but not quite like the originalOverall this is a great product for the money. Never last more than a few months. Waste of money.1Had one week- so far works great & price can t be beat!Bought this for my Acer Chromebook 14 after my pups chewed up my original cord . In a crunch I bought a $50 Insignia from Best Buy while waiting for the 9.99 one to arrive from amazon. Neither of the plugs fit flush and well like the original BUT for 9.99 I will keep this cord and buy another for backup and both will still be huge saving over the Insignia. I ve only had the cord about a week & it worked just fine but I did notice when I used it the first time & plugged my laptop in overnight- after I unplugged it the indicator said I only had little of 4 hrs battery time. Horrified I plugged it in and out over the course of about 10 min the # of hours left for the battery fluctuated greatly- eventually it indicated 6 hrs plus and I left for work with the cord in tow. Since then I haven t noticed a low number of battery hours after leaving it charging for a long time.Only 4 stars because it doesn t fit flush and I don t think a week is long enough to judge.4Junk product.The power adapter tip is longer then the original Acer brand Chromebook laptop computer. (see attached photo). This company buys their cords from China - the bag says so. I don't think this seller even bothers to test their cords they send out.
