    Description

    The Victorian floor registers and vent covers have a plated finish over a 3mm thick steel core. A durable lacquer coating has been added to the plated registers to help protect the finish. The 6 wide register covers come equipped with knock-out screw holes for sidewall or ceiling installation. Screws are included. Victorian floor registers and vent covers have an adjustable heavy duty aluminum damper which can be removed if desired. Listed sizes are the actual hole size the floor register will be inserted in to. You will love the easy drop-in-style installation.

Bought the register for a bathroom renovation (which explains why the attached photo shows the register against plain old greenboard). Finish is oil-rubbed bronze and matches all of the other oil-rubbed bronze bathroom accessories I've bought. Price is a bit steeper than what you'll pay for a plain old white register, but this is also much nicer than those registers, so you get what you pay for. 5You won't want to hide these beauties.These grates really add a lot to the overall look of our living room and since these heating vents are usually visible so that the air can be distributed, why not have something pretty covering it? The product was very sturdy, heavy metal which I think will las t a long time without tarnishing. I am glad that we got them. 5mislead thinking it was stainless on top but the steel ...mislead thinking it was stainless on top but the steel coloring is wearing off which was not what I expected. 3Fits our special need and is lovely.This register is beautiful. I bought this because we have a narrow vent that a wheelchair constantly rolls over and over time the register warped/bent between the openings. The design of this one is flat with no raised pieces of metal to catch on the chair s wheels. I hope to purchase a few more of these for our home. 5Looks elegant, well madeFinally replaced my old dingy white vent cover and this was an easy and beautiful change that adds a designer touch to my bathroom 5Too bad, I would have ordered more!The product was made very well, however I must have clicked on the wrong dimension and when I tried to return for the correct size I was dumbfounded by the 15% restocking fee plus the 20 dollar return postage. That would be about half the total cost. Needless to say I would rather give it to a friend first....too bad as I wanted to order two more. That is the height of the toe space at the bottom of my kitchen counter where the air vent is located. The product was advertised at 3 1/4 inch and that is exactly the outside width of the vent cover. The vent looks good where it is located and it is a very attractive vent. 5Very sturdy productWill use this product for any of my air intakes no modifications needed for anything only thing to beware of is if you have a young child make sure you get magnets with perpenrated holes because they're toes can fit between the groups but that's not anything to discourage anyone from buying them 5Copper plated, not solid copperBEWARE: These are copper plated, not solid copper as can be found elsewhere on Amazon. I will update my one star rating pending a successful no shipping cost return.Update:1. I reviewed the item description and there is no indication that these are copper plated which simply will not work for me. They appear to well made and are heavy gage, copper plated steel.2. I have to pay for return shipping, hence the one star rating remains. 1
